really, I hate them as a couple, but a thoroughly AMAZING episode! I can't wait until next week!!!!!!
Looks like next week's could be an Emmy-submitted episode for Debra.
You can never have too many of those tchotchkes.
Say what!
The last 3 minutes of the show tonight were amazing.
Weren't they though? I wonder how this is going to play out if they do end up firing Isaiah.
I don't think I'll ever get over Alex & Addison. It creeps me out a little too much.
The last 3 minutes were amazing & overwhelming at the same time. I love Callie & George. If they got married, I would be really happy. Cristina & Burke still need time, IMO. I'm so excited for next week, with everybody collapsing on the groud & Ellis w/ her memory back. Yay!
When I heard Amish, I immediately thought of Jonathan Groff, since he grew up in Dutch Country :P
Wow...amazing.
I love Bailey. I really do.
I cannot wait for next Thursday!

I loved it.
I adore George and Callie. But did anyone stop to consider the horrors of the name Callie O'Malley? It was honestly the second thought that popped into my head, right after "AWWWWWWWW!"
Just thought I'd mention.

Callie O'Malley! I didn't think of that. I bet they'll bring that up on the show; it's too good NOT to!

Didn't even think of that.
Loved the episode. I love Addie and Alex. That needs to happen. Now.
But poor Richard! I mean, it wasn't exactly easy for him to step down and his wife went and got a new man!
And how can Meredith's mom get her memory back? Doesn't she have Alzheimer's?
They really need to stop with filming every Meredith/Derek scene in that damn soft focus. It's not cute or romantic or whatever it is they think they're accomplishing there, it doesn't cause PD and EP to have a 'glow' about them, you know showing how this is their One True Love or whatever, it's just...no. Just stop it.
Alex was totally lying to Addison about the I feel nothing for you, he just really wanted to get back to surgery.
I loved the way that Callie and Cristina bonded over the cutting of the legs- that was so completely in character for both of them.
And I can't help it, but every time that IW was onscreen all I could think of was Chokegate, and it totally distracted from everything- the race to be chief, the proposal, everything!
So...I.. uh...umm..CoughcriedCough during this episode. When the friend was telling the other one to go home. So sad. Overall great episode
this show only gets better.....I love it, totally surprised by last night.

Agreed. Ok, I'm way too obsessed with this couple.

"Alex was totally lying to Addison about the I feel nothing for you, he just really wanted to get back to surgery."
I also agree.
Yeah, this episode made my cry hardcore. The whole Amish storyline killed me. And my favorite part was the Attendings, both fighting to get Richard's attention and then moping on the bridge together(and ganging up on Mark, which was really just priceless). Next week looks insane good. Can't wait.

Anyone else notice that when the four attendings were sitting there against the wall, it was the same shot as when the four interns were sitting in time out after Izzie cut the lvad (sp?). Very smart.

Ashley, I noticed that. My friend and I were talking about that after the show last night. I also loved Derek's little add in about "The Nazi's back." And I cracked up when they all ganged up on Mark.
I loved the episode as well. I admit to crying like a little baby... especially the 'cradle to grave' storyline. Actually, what killed me the most about that was when Jillian's mom turned around and spoke to her best friend (even though she had been shunned) and told her she'd tell her parents that she saw her and she was well and had grown into a beautiful young woman. That killed me. Oh, and Izzie and George in the conference room. That killed me too -- ditto a moment later when Bailey walked in and Izzie alluded to the fact that she wanted to fund the clinic.
I agree that Alex was completely lying.
Thoughts on the proposals. Im thinking Cristina will say yes and Callie will say no. Though Callie felt such strong feelings for George so quickly, I think she'll be inclined to say no because she thinks he's only proposing because he's depressed over his dad's death, not because in his heart of hearts that's what he really wants.
I can't wait to see what happens next week!

The episode was amazing! CJR I totally agree with your proposal ideas!! I was shocked when Burke proposed. It was kind of random? I guess that's the way to put it. And Callie O'Malley. That reminds me of Julia Gulia from the Wedding Singer. I can't wait until Thursday! Also, the marathon runner getting his leg cut open was so scary. I was about to cry!!!

That was my first thought.
I can't believe Mark would actually think he would have a chance. He's been there for all of 4.5 seconds. Loved that Richard told Bailey she would be chief. That was exciting. I guess technically it should go to Burke as all the rest of them haven't been there that long. Maybe it will go to another attending who we don't know yet.
Is there any way that they can bypass the attendings and give it to Bailey? She's earned it. Last night was an emotional rollercoaster for me too. The cradle to grave story line was great, especially the end where the mom turned around. I was hoping that would happen. I agree with the proposal thing, as well. I only wonder what will happen if Isaiah is fired. What will they do if Cristina says yes? Will they have another dead fiance storyline?
Wow, I absolutely loved this episode. I was getting a bit worried because last week's episode was a bit too predictable for me. This really came out of nowhere.
First of all, I am on Adelle's (spelling?) side. I don't feel bad for the chief at all. She waited for years, and stayed by him even though she knew he was having an affair, it's about time she finds a man who (hopefully) respects and appreciates her, something that Richard never seemed to do.
Alex was totally lying, of course. I can't wait to see what happens with this storyline, I really like Addison, I want her to be happy.
The proposals, wow. I really did not see those coming at all. The "Scenes from next week's episode" on last week's episode said three shockers, but those two were a "WHAT?!" moment for me. It'll be interesting to see what will happen with the Burke/Cristina storyline seeing as how Washington is on the verge of being fired. Callie O'Malley. Heh. That's funny. I don't think Callie will say yes, she seemed more stunned than truly moved. Cristina, on the other hand, had tears in her eyes. So who knows? I could be totally wrong, though.
I can't wait for next week!

It was so sad when Richard went to see Adele and she had another man there. Here he was, finally giving up his career to be able to give her everything she deserves (no matter how late he was in doing this) and she slams the door in his face. I felt for him at that moment.
I wonder if next week's storyline of Ellis being lucid and having her memory back will play into the Richard/Adele storyline.....
