I think they will restore it. Until then, I would like to restate that the best line last night goes to Christina Yang. "I heard about Really Old Guy. What happened, couldn't find his LVAD wire?"

Word.

Oh and I will repeat that Sara looked GORGEOUS.

What happened to Izzie's great love for Danny Duquette. Well, she forgot him fast. I can't see Izzie with George. She is like a loved starved predator. For me, this season is not as good as the other seasons. I think McDreamy should totally give up on Meredith who totally annoys me. What a screw up. She can't stand any of her family.

P.S. Nice to see you, CJR.

In Shonda time, since it's only been one year since the beginning of the show, Izzie was with Denny four months ago. It's stupid.

They also mentioned this week that they ate lunch in Really Old Guy's room for a year. Anyone else remember this? When Izzie came back from her Denny breakdown, she found the interns in Really Old Guy's room. They introduced her. That was several episodes after Denny died. So, how did they eat in there for a year if they discovered him less than four months ago? Shonda and the writers never take time into consideration.

JG2, you know I say this out of love and humor, cause I do adore you.... but watching tv or a movie with you has to be like watching it with my aunt! lol She picks up all sorts of little inacuracies that nobody else would notice and they BUG her lol Like in the Chicago movie where Velma flashes money at Mama and it's modern day currency.... which is wrong because the movie is set in the 20's. It makes me laugh.

I think the other interns had been eating in Really Old Guy's room for a year, but Izzie was so wrapped up in the Denny stuff and everything else, she only met him recently.

And theoretically, the first 3 seasons were supposed to be a year, but I have a feeling Shonda slightly abandonded that and it went slightly over a year.... which makes the time line a little more plausible. Not completely, but a little more.

As for Meredith and Derek... I understand that she's damaged and I understand Derek's innate need to want to help her... and his blind faith that it'll work out for them because she is his great love. Call me crazy, but I get it. I've been there. I've been the Meredith AND the Derek in this situation. However, the Derek in me realized after 7 years it was a lost cause. But it took me 7 years to get to that point LMAO.

Meredith doesn't really HATE her family... She just doesn't know how to be a part of a family. She spent her childhood with a detached mother who was absorbed in her career, no father, but a pseudo father figure in the chief... Her father left -- didn't fight for them -- and became this whole other person with another family. THEN her mother dies and she tries to have a relationship with her father..... only to have a better relationship with her step mother, Susan, who then dies in her care. Her father seems to blame her for that. Now she has a sister being thrown in her face at every turn..... she can't just automatically adapt and be all like "hey, we're family, I love you." She doesn't know Lexy.... and she's bitter that Lexy got from her father what SHE always wanted. Him being there, being a part of her life, being proud of her and being the loving, caring father he couldn't be to Meredith because he decided to walk out. In Meredith's damaged mind, he basically chose Lexy and his other daughter (who's name escapes me) over her. I can really appreciate the hurt and anger behind that. Of course, Lexy doesn't understand that because in her mind, her father is this spectacular person who's always been there... it's unfathomable to her that he was anything less than that to Meredith.

Meredith is completely within her rights being bitter and angry. She has the right to not want any part of that relationship. But she does need to calm down a little and get it in check. Lexy's not going anywhere and at the very least, she needs to learn to deal and to work with her. Bailey said it perfectly last week.... that Meredith hasn't had one kind word to say to her own sister since she's gotten there and like it or not, she is one of her teachers. She needs to put it all aside and show just a little bit of kindness..... at the very least, as a co-worker.

PS. Hi Broadwaylady!!!! So wonderful to see you again!!!! re: Grey's Anatomy

Oh, I take no offense at all. I don't pick up on the inacuracies until AFTER the shows when I have had time to think about them. Then they start to annoy me.

I can't wait for this week. I can't wait to see Callie's response when IzzME tries to fight her. Although Grey's kind of gave it away by showing the whole leading up scene as a teaser on the website. I still think it's going to be funny.

So, I must share. Kate Walsh turned 40 on Saturday and had a party. Sara, Justin (Alex), Taye and Idina (looking tragic and in need of a Galinda makeover) were there. There is a funny video. Sara's underwear comment made me giggle. So did the photographer who yelled, "I need proof!"

Seriously, people? I am holding up the BWW Grey's flag all by myself? Okay then, about last night.

The good: Callie looking at Izzie like she was a moron. Alex calling Izzie on the BS. Callie telling Izzie off. "Don't you dare come to me for forgiveness you traitorous bitch." word. Callie in the rain was yummy and sad. I <3 the Sara.

The bad: George and the running. Callie knowing but not knowing all of it. Callie having another week of not being able to pull it together. One more thing that can be held against her before we see anything positive. They had the opportunity to show her doing good with Bailey. They showed them working together and Callie losing it. Not cool. I have been holding on to my hope, but now I am afraid Callie will lose the position. I wish she would confide in someone.

Why would Izzie take off her sneakers to fight? balls.

Nope, Im holding up the flag right along with you, love. This is just the first moment I've had to write!

First of all, Sara cracks me up. "Good thing I have underwear on! Ok, y'all! BYE!!!!"

And Idina looks tragic, I must agree.

Okay, now to the episode.

That episode had SO much more potential than they actually followed through on. I was marginally disappointed.

Frankly, I really would have liked to have seen Izzie and Callie throw down. Fo'shizzle. Okay, yeah I definitely just said fo'shizzle, but seriously. When Callie finally told Izzie off, I really wanted her to turn around and just punch Izzie in the fcuking face. Really. Just clothes line her. Please. Now, I like Izzie and all but the fact that she CLEARLY doesn't realize that destroying a marriage is a huge deal and DOES have repercussions irritates me to no end.

George weenied out. He told Callie he slept with Izzie... he never told her he fell in love with her. George is a pretty decent, moral guy... I think he was trying not to hurt Callie any more than he knows he already has. However then Callie does the unthinkable and says she forgives him. That they took vows, he made a mistake and she forgives him. Now what is George gonna do? I think he was hoping Callie would end it, saving him having to be the bad guy.... but she doesn't. So now what?

Alex calling Izzie out adds a bit of complexity to the story line. He obviously fell for Ava/Rebecca/Jane Doe, but his comment to Izzie leads me to believe he still sorta holds a torch for her.

Norman... his presence irritates me slightly. I've yet to figure out his "lot in life" if you will.

Coming back to Callie for a moment... we see throughout the episode that Bailey is trying to work with Callie. Callie, on the other hand, is having a meltdown. Her true breaking point? Yelling at her patient's boyfriend. This is when George realizes that no, Callie has NOT forgiven him. It's just something you say. He want's so desperately for Callie not to have forgiven him -- because he WAS wrong, he DID hurt her and he doesn't deserve forgiveness -- so he calls her out on it.... and she tells him honestly, "no, I have not forgiven you."

Following in the trend of forgiveness in this episode are Derek and Meredith. And can I just say, I'd like a McDreamy of my own. Preferrably one that resembles Patrick Dempsey. Thanks. lol Derek has finally accepted that he's been at this love thing a long time and Meredith's just getting started. She's not there yet... and hopefully, with time, she will be. He's willing to give her that time and wait for her to get there because he loves her. He wants to build a life with her.... a weekend together isn't enough. He wants forever. Meredith does love him, very much... she just needs to get past her own demons and really let him love her.... and start to build a life with him. I hope we get to see it happen.

The most heart breaking moment of the episode was that between Richard and Camille (his niece). I teared up a little; not gonna lie. I do think it was unfair of Adelle to hang their relationship in the balance pending whether or not Richard was able to force Camille into treatment she didn't want. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see with that.

Next week's episode looks to be interesting.... Halloween coming early? Meredith bringing her mother's ashes to work? Ava/Rebecca/Jane Doe coming back for Alex? I can't wait!

This episode was way too melodramatic for me.

Callie needs to dump George's ass and find a man as strong as she is.

Izzie is just plain stalker crazy.

George should get the hell out of there, start over in a new coty/hospital, and find a nice, uncomplicated girl who won't dominate him.

Derek needs to just be man. I am pretty sure he has a vajayjay. I didn't like his smackdown of Christina.

Sara is really pulling out the acting chops. Callie is just so real.

I am really trying to stay spoiler free, but my friends aren't respecting that fact. The stuff they sent me for next week bothers me. So SPOILERS ARE FOLLOWING...

Apparently next week Callie tells everyone about the Gizzie affair, but that's in writing on the website for next week's preview. Looking forward to that. Then SOMEONE loses their position. I can't imagine it being anyone but Callie. Who else has a position that could be in jeapordy? I thought after last week that it wouldn't be Callie due to the Bailey/Callie team idea. Now that Callie didn't pull it together this week, I am really afraid it will be her. I am not happy. I need my kick ass Callie back.

Callie: You should direct your questions to Dr. Bailey, Stephens.
Yang: Oh, we are directing our questions to Dr. Bailey?
Callie: Oh, not you, just Stephens.
Bailey: Why is Stephens directing her questions to me?
Callie: Oh, because she has been sleeping with my husband. Alrighty then. Have a good day.

Double ewwwww.

Yay for Mark offering to cheer Callie up. Day or night. Especially night. heh.

And every time I see Dr. Hahn I want to say, "It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it goets the hose again."

Okay, so Bailey said it takes two to get to the point that George's marriage was in. WHAT? No. They had a fight over the fact that Izzie had feelings for him and then he went out and boned her. How is that Callie's fault? Now, she shouldn't have married him in the first place, but he told her he loved her and wanted to marry her and she was completely in love with him since season 2. Am I just blind to Callie's faults? I just don't see what she did wrong except want her husband to love her.

I just don't get this show anymore. I swear it's going to collapse under the weight of the enormous mistake of the George/Izzie pairing.

Callie trying to turn the George/Izzie thing into it being Izzie's betrayal of womankind was crap. That's fine if she feels like one woman shouldn't screw over another as a matter of principle, but it was her husband that cheated on her. Izzie cheated on no one, except maybe common sense and reason, but that's more a fault of the writing.

Bailey's speech bugged me because of the implication that because they rushed into marriage (or rather Callie rushed into marriage with George so soon after his father died) is indication that "it takes two to tango" and of course that would lead George into an affair with Izzie, completely and totally out of the blue. Jesus, the George and Izzie thing needs to stop. No one wants this, Shonda. No one!

No, JG, you aren't blind to Callie's faults. The show is grasping at straws to find some reason - even one most tenuous - to make this George and Izzie pairing palatable and it isn't. It just isn't.

It's as though the writers have absolutely no regard for the arc they've created for their characters. It took us three seasons to get through one year and no it's like none of it happened. Nothing ever gets resolved, and it always goes back to the way it was. Adele is filing for divorce (again!), McDreamy makes everything Meredith's fault (again!), Alex runs off Ava (again!). This show used to be so smart and now I find it treating its audience with contempt.

Is this season going to move at a faster pace, or is it going to take another three seasons to end this year at Seattle Grace? I'm really losing my patience with this show. Something is very wrong when Meredith - who for three seasons annoyed me to end - is one of the few characters I can actually stand.

I have not been a fan of Grey's Anatomy until now - too much a soap opera and not enough medical drama. But right around episode 11 of this season, I will watch it. Just two words - Joshua Jackson.

Ok, now see.... I see the show much differently than that.

Bailey's speech... the "it takes two people to get where you are"? I think that can be taken two ways. Callie knew George really didn't want to marry her. Callie KNEW George was rebounding and trying to find someway to feel better after his father's death. I think, written into this relationship and into Callie's character, she knew that George was only marrying her because his dad liked her and because his dad was pushing their relationship before he died.

Callie decided to ignore all of this and marry George. Clearly, against her better judgment. I think that Callie thought if she married George everything else would fall into place. It doesn't work like that. Nevermind the fact that Callie had an inkling there was a problem, but never dealt with it. Rather, she decided that she and George should have a baby. Because really, THAT will fix the problem.

Callie shouldn't be putting all the blame on Izzie though. George is her husband..... he is just as much at fault as Izzie, if not MORE just for the pure and simple fact that he broke vows. And that BS last week about how she tried to trust her, she tried to let her in, she tried to be friends with her? Eff that, she DID NOT.

Phyllis, I don't think Derek is making everything Meredith's fault. He understands that she's been through a lot, that she's not there yet and he's willing to wait for her. But he doesn't want her to think that he'll wait forever. As much as he is in love with her, he needs to live his life too.

I liked last night when Meredith told Mark that her mother had never gotten it together for Halloween. That Ellis didn't believe in knocking on other people's doors, begging for food. Her first experience with the whole "trick or treating thing" was taking that little boy around the hospital, trying to arrange his surgery. That right there gives us a whole lot of insight into Meredith. The only one who will ever truly understand the dysfunction she comes from is Richard.... Which is one of the many reasons I truly loved the scene where they, in essence, bury her mother. Not to mention it was beautifully executed -- ESPECIALLY the shot with both their hands under the faucet.

I loved Alex with Ava/Rebecca. And I really loved that she left him her shirt. And Alex finally being comfortable enough to fall asleep? Loved it.

So Im guessing after last night's episode, Norman will not be returning? Am I the only one who really missed the significance of him being there?

As usual, I can't wait to see what happens next week. I actually have to re-watch it online... A friend stopped by and insisted on talking during the show and then repeating lines that the characters said, thus making me miss the rest of the scene. This is why I watch Grey's alone LOL
