Perhaps it's just the fact that I am so diametrically opposed to the Izzie and George pairing that a refuse to see it as nothing else other than a sign of the apocolypse.

I believe I heard that Izzie and George isn't permanent.... Id rather watch it play out and see how it affects everything else around them (because you know it will LOL) than be vehemently opposed to it from the get go.

Well, because of spoilers, I now know what's going to happen. I am still kicking myself.
And yes, CJR, you are right about them rushing into the marriage, but Callie had been in love with him since the end of season 2. He told her all those great things. "Whenever I look at you I feel better. It knocks my socks off, but it's true. I don't have to have sex with you, I would be happy just to look at you, to have any part of you, though all of you would be the best thing because I love you." I mean, who WOULDN'T fall for that? She even shook her head and said his name as he said I love you, kind of like 'don't say it if you don't mean it.' Then he followed it up by proposing to a woman who had already talked to Addison and Miranda about how much she wanted to be married and have a family. He made her believe he was sincere. At the time, I thought he was sincere. Hell, the writers might have even thought that. But once they were married, her only error was not telling him she was wealthy. I get it. She said it destroyed every relationship she ever had. She should have told him, but I don't think it gives her equal blame.
Actually, even though Callie doesn't know why exactly, it IS more Izzie's fault than George's. They were both drunk. They made a mistake. George was trying to do the responsible thing and stay with Callie. IzzME was chasing him. Izzie gave that stupid "opposite of burke's vows" speech in the locker room. Callie was placing all of her anger on Izzie last week, but keep in mind that that was before she told George she didn't forgive him. She thought that was what she had to do before they could move on. She couldn't be angry with him because she had forgiven him. Izzie humiliated her at home and at work, so she was able to give her the verbal smackdown. I just don't see how Izzie will ever be able to redeem herself in my eyes.
And Phyllis, Meredith has been downright enjoyable for two weeks in a row! I don't get it.

I'm vehemently opposed to George and Izzie because it came out of nowhere, is completey out of character for both of them and just seemed to serve no purpose except to give more proof to the fact that Shonda Rhimes has lost her touch. The show is a mess now.
Rhimes claims to have "the bible" of Grey's mapped out.So, I'm going to trust her for a little while longer and see where she's going with this. Chances are she's going nowhere, but I'm going to be optimistic about it.
Totally out of left field. Remember when George's dad died and he broke Callie's vagina? Callie said, "You take over for me," to Izzie who responded, "Callie Torres!" with shock and outrage. (Callie had meant as his friend, she called it George Watch 2007.) Like a month later she did just that.

Shonda also tried to front like that episode where Addison drove down to LA wasn't the pilot for a spin off.
Yes, because all of those actors were just itching to do a guest spot that had nothing to do with Seattle. Made sense to me.

Maybe Meredith will grow close to Lexi and then Lexi will die. It's been four or five episodes since she's had a major tragedy right? Maybe she could get pregnant and someone will punch her in the stomach.

I don't remember a broken vagina! Where was I for this?
I'm just now watching the episode from last night, and I'm actually...enjoying it. The show is still on thin ice with me, but I am actually LIKING Meredith for once!
Well, not literally. George dealt with his father's death by having sex with Callie. Lots and lots of sex.
George didn't grieve for his father, he turned to Callie. Izzie knocked on his door with a tray of sweets she had baked.
Izzie: George, can I come in? I made you some cookies and brownies and muffins, of course I always make muffins.
(Callie comes flying out with clothes in her hands.)
Callie: Oh, thank god you're here. I can't take it anymore. Three times already tonight and he's getting ready for a fourth.
Izzie: Are you talking about...? Oh. Oh, eww.
Callie: And you know, I get it. I get crying. I get depressed. I know we all deal in different ways, but this is not grieving. This is my legs being bent in ways that my legs do not go. And I know. I know his dad died. I get it and I feel horrible for him, but if this keeps up pretty soon we'll be having a funeral for my vagina!
Izzie: I'm gonna give you guys some privacty.
Callie: (whispers) No! No! NO! You stay. You take over for me.
Izzie: Callie Torres!
Callie: No, not like that. I am giving him to you. You are now officially on George Watch 2007. You're his friend. YAY! (Cute clappy thing.) And I need a break. I need to heal. I need to heal. I need to heal.
Izzie: No. No. No.. What do I say?
Callie: Please!
George: (Through the door.) Caaaaallie? (Both women shut up and look a the door.)
Callie: Thank you. Goodbye.
Izzie: No! Callie!
George: (opening the door completely naked) What is taking you so... (Izzie stares at his crotch with her mouth gaping open. He jumps behind the door.)
Izzie: um.. oh... she had to go. Are you hungry?
George is in the locker room later and says, "Anyone seen Callie? I kind of need to find her for something." and on the 'find' he does this tiny little hip thrust that makes me giggle.
Then Callie is walking with Christina...
Callie: How's George?
Christina: Dealing, I guess.
Callie: He sure has a voracious appetite.
Christina: Eh, some people bake, some people eat.
Callie: No, I don't mean like that appetite, I mean the OTHER appetite.
Christina: Oh, okay... we are not friends. You and I, we are not friends. Please don't talk to me about what George... eats.
Callie: Okay, I was just concerned and I thought you might be concerned, but you know what? Forget it. I don't like you.
Christina: (in a baby voice) Oh, now my feelings are hurt.
(They end up becoming friend-like by the end through a cool surgery.)
There is some point in the episode where Izzie says she wants to talk to George about the fact that he needs so much sex that his girlfriend's vagina is broken. I don't have time to watch the whole thing right now. I love this episode. George proposes at the end.
So, someone made a video that makes me feel even better about my Izzie hatred. This is great.
Best of Izzie: Don't Judge Me
Okay, I am loving Dr. Hahn. I didn't think I liked her.
Single handedly my favorite opening shot eva! Yummy sleeping Callie.
I really need Mer/Der to figger this thing out.
Callie letting go was sweet.
Izzie just needs to go away.
Was that Chief to George talk ANOTHER example of someone letting him off the hook? Seriously, over it.

Yuo have to admit, though. The one shaved leg was freaking hysterical. Izzie's whole meltdown was pretty hysterical!
I'm an Izzie sympathizer. I heart her.
Not me, homewrecking whore. heh. Okay, so I kind of like her, but don't tell anyone. She is very whiney. I just have a feeling Gizzie isn't going to last, so, I wish they would just end it already.

This episode was just ok. It gets bonus points for Chryssie Whitehead, though.

I actually liked the episode a lot... but Im all about Meredeth/Derek.
I'll really chime in on this tomorrow when Im not exhausted

I am tired of the Meredith Derek storyline. I hope there is a good payoff to their storyline because it is boring me! Sandra Oh's character is getting to be over the top (again!) for me. However, I am really warming up to Callie. Didn't like her at first and wasn't crazy about Ms. Ramirez joining the cast but I am quickly becoming a fan. With all that said, it is still one of my favorite shows. The open heart/awake surgery thing was a wee bit cheesy. Why didn't they just clear the gallery immediately? But I went with it and it was alright. I think Izzie and George should be together. I must confess that I was wondering how I would see George after all that mess last year and his coming out. T.R. Knight is so good that I don't even think about it. And I don't miss Burke. But I love the way they keep bringing him up. Just my random thoughts.

I, too, am quite sick of the Meredith/Derek storyline. I think Christina's line about how "being aware of your crap and getting over your crap are two very different things" really summed up their entire relationship.
I loved the wedding dress storyline and loved that the actress from A Chorus Line had a nice part with a sweet little monolgue about her mother. Very nice touch. I dont remember the actresses name, but she was in the ACL revival. She was great.
I think George is cuter than ever. I think he and Mc Steamy need to hook up. :)
Go Callie *lol*
I hate Gizzie *blah*
Chryssie Whitehead, Krisitne from the ACL revival was wonderful
This was a good episode.
Are they trying to make Izzie even less likable than Meredith? No dice as far as I'm concerned, but A for effort.
