Stockard, that sounds awful! I'm sorry! That's happened to me a lot, actually (same sweating, nausea), but it has always ended with me passing out. The fact that I've experienced it too and am too young for hot flashes makes me think that's not what it was. You're so not old enough anyway.
I sometimes wish they'd ban alcohol here. It'd be HILARIOUS to see the students freak out over that one. I usually go to downtown Cincinnati when I'm looking to get into trouble, so it wouldn't actually affect me.
Schmerg, the college search is never easy...but as others have said, please don't sell yourself short. Without ever having met you, I can tell you're a very smart chick who's going to go far. Apply for anything you even have a fleeting thought about pursuing! I applied to a couple Ivy Leagues KNOWING I'd be flat-out rejected, but I wanted to go to them so badly that I gave it a shot. I got wait-listed at one (and THEN rejected), but even that was a nice, unexpected bonus. I think I ended up applying to about ten schools, and I'd recommend that to anyone who doesn't have an immediate idea of where they want to go.
ETA: sorry I've been writing novels on here lately! I'll try to be more concise next post.

yeah, it was pretty bad. I'm still feeling a little nauseated.
*sigh*
But my husband is picking up pizza. Hopefully I won't ralph it back up.
Stock that sounds awful!
I hope so too, Stockard. But pizza makes everything better, so I'm sure you'll be OK.
Stockard, that sounds like the virus I've had 2 time in the past week...I hope you don't have it, but if you do, at least it's only a 24 hour bug....
Hope all of you have a great weekend! Jag, I think your friend is crazy! It's ALWAYS better to be smart!
BB, don't forget I'm coming to your next show, whatever it may be!!
"Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me."
Perhaps she just fancies herself a twentieth century Elwood P. Dowd? Man, I wish I could adopt him as my role model, but I haven't the patience to be pleasant and I'm clinging desperately to my smarts before the Alzheimer's sets in. Dammit.
Feel better, Stockard. Sounds like you are getting sick.
I've been super lazy lately and haven't gotten a lot done. Haha oh well.
I hope everyone's doing well! Feel better, Stockard!
"Pianolin, when I was coaching cheerleading the state competition was always held at VCU. I'm actually going to be in Richmond for a wedding next fall. My step brother went to U of R, and wants to get married in the chapel there."
Yeah! The Seigel Center is great for those things! Do you know where your brother wants to get married in Richmond? there are some gorgeous churches here
And about CNU, it is a VERY dry campus now. They are really working on changing the face of the campus, its very lovely!
Maisie and Lucious, hope yall did great tonight!!
And I had day 1 of the handbell conference tonight.. boy is it tiring! Can't wait for day 2 tomorrow!
I had a fabulous opening night! I'll give the details and post the link to the pictures in the morning!
Edit:
I lied. Here the link to the pictures from the first act.
Act I
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofuThose pics are so cute! I'm glad the show went well. =]
Okay, so here's the full report! The place was PACKED! We had to turn people away because we ran out of room! It was neat because since I was a former student, the second I ran on stage to do the curtain speech the crowd went crazy! The audience LOVED the show! I got to sit in the audience and they just ate it up! It was so amazing to watch these kids put on one of the best shows this school has done! Our Rizzo even got a standing ovation for Worse Things! And the kids did things I have never seen them do before! The only issue we had was that our sound system kept screwing up... so we did use mikes the second act and you couldn't even tell! I can't wait to see what they do tonight!
Also the Act II pictures are now up on Facebook

Morning ladies and Piano! :)
withoutlove- The show looks awesome! Especially for a middle school production! Really impressive!
I didn't get cast A disappointment but not a blow (everyone who auditioned was amazing.) Well now I'll just put all of my energy into the One Act and convincing my crush to fall in love with me...hahaha!
Thank you all for the well wishes. I'm feeling a tad better, but still not great.
Kels, the pictures are great!
Faith, sorry about the part, and good luck with the crush!
Oh yeah, Pianolin - my step brother plans to get married at the chapel that is on the U of R campus.
Really, Maisie? They look amazing! It looks like you're in a nice theater too.
Kels, your pictures are adorable. Everyone looks like they're having so much fun! I'm so, so happy it went well! Congrats.
I think I'm going to need counseling before I ever shop at a Target again. As of right now, this project is making me never want to set foot in there. Actually, it's making me want to set local Targets on fire.
Faith, it happens to the best of us I'm glad you're not taking it too hard, you just gotta get back up and audition for other productions!
jag, what is this project that has you spending so much time in Target?
I and a group of four other people have to come up with a "comprehensive growth strategy" for Target on how to move into downtown, urban areas successfully. Of course, we postponed doing work on it until like three days before Target needs it, so it's completely our fault, but this crap is hard anyway. It's just a lot of analysis on different markets and products. Ugh! It's going to end up being about 40 pages.
That does not sound fun. You guys sound like me when I had college projects to do......I remember one that we had all semester to do and I did it all in 4 days. And the teacher gave me an A+ and wanted to keep it as an example to show future classes. HAHAHA!
That's pretty much how this will end up! I can only hope we'll get an A+, though I'm not holding my breath.
I wish they'd compensate us for this. If I had free Target gift cards, this would be a hell of a lot more fun.
Thanks guys!
2 days until our One Act competition! I'm a tad bit nervous :/
jag- That sounds AWFUL. I remember arguing a C into an A and then the teacher held it up to the class of an example...haha.
Maisie- Looks awesome! I love that yellow costume. Is that the wardrobe?
Wait, jag you're not getting anything out of this?
