So, today she wrote on my wall that she's coming to town (she's since moved to NYC) with her (even wackier and really annoying) friend and we should hang out!
Now, mind you, when I moved out of our apartment, she turned into a raving lunatic. The gas bill was under my name and she refused to call and get an account w her name on it (mainly because she owed them a ton of money from a previous apt). I gave her ample notice that my account would be closed and she better get one on her own, etc. Well, the gas company wanted to come in and physically turn off the gas and she FLIPPED out on me and threatened me ("You'll be sorry"). Basically, she wanted me to keep the account open until she could find another poor roommate to open a new one. Yes, she wanted me to pay for her gas once I moved out. I had to get the landlord involved and everything. This is only the tip of the iceberg of crap I dealt with from her.
So, long story short..I really don't want to see her. My life is much less toxic without her in it. Do I just ignore the post or say "um, no thanks."? OR, do I accept this olive branch that she's apparently offering? Bottom line is that I do not want to be her friend anymore.
Sorry for the rambling rant!

Also, I saw (500) Days of Summer yesterday on your recommendation! You're right...it was really, really good. Not too artsy to annoy me, yet done very well. My mom loved it so much that she's making my dad go back with her tonight! So, thanks for the great rec!

Hey, newgirl you're in Chicago right? Chris is interviewing for a job (had a preliminary phone interview today and the head dude is supposed to call him on Monday) for a company based in Chicago and if he gets it (please God) he'll be doing 6 weeks of training there.

Yes, Mauri and I are both in Chicago, Stock. It would be awesome if he got the job. If you or Chris need any recommendations for fun things to do, let me know. It's a great city in the summer and fall. Winter can be harrowing.

Tomorrow is the last day of summer school! But I have a buttload of homework to do tonight and I'm pulling a C- in that class. Let's hope I can keep it from going to a D!

I'm drinking Jack Daniels straight up, by myself, watching The Lost Boys. WHAT HAS MY LIFE BECOME? At this point, I'll be lucky if I end up like those ladies in danmag's picture.
