Well, the whole point of me going to summer school and dealing with all of this is so I don't have to go to community college. It's very complicated and hard to explain, but if I go to community college, then I will never get out of this vile little town and I'll be like "them". Thank I'm driven and as stubborn as hell. If I wasn't, I wouldn't stand a chance.

I just got finished playing a rousing game of fetch with my dog Jackson and dear Lord is it hot here!!! Yesterday alone it was 99 degrees but with the heat index it felt like 107. Today it's only somewhat cooler at 95 degrees. The heat down here is ridiculous. I looked cute going to church this morning but as soon as I left the "cute" just poured off of me cuz I was roasting in my heels. So GROSS!!!! I was planning on laying out in the hammock underneath the weeping willow tree in the backyard but it's too darn hot to relax. UGH!!!!

The weather's been coming and going all day here. There was lovely sunshine when I was out in the garden though. I've planted out my beans, and I've also done a lot of sifting and composting and raking to this flower bed so I should be able to plant my corn out sometime this week! There's something ridiculously, gloriously satisfying about wonderful sifted earth running through your fingers. :3

Holy crap, I'm watching Rescue Me (my TV obsession du jour, for anyone wondering), and Brian d'Arcy James just showed up! I love TV shows filmed in/near New York. They're SO good for Broadway cameos. :3

So apparently no one wanted to bring their dads to Oklahoma on Father's Day because there were only about 50 people in the audience. But that was probably for the best since we had 2 understudies and 3 swings in today haha
