I'd rather someone kickstart for their education than for their wedding...which is something I encountered just yesterday.

I'm all, 'Bitch...if getting married is important, do what Carrie Bradshaw did and head to City Hall, followed by breakfast at a greasy spoon!'

Several years ago there was a guy on Craig's List who was trying to raise money for what he claimed was a serious medical condition. He had set up a PayPal account. Turns out his medical condition was that he was a meth addict who had lost his job and his apartment and needed cash for his next fix!
