I can deal with her rath.
I hope.
eveeerytthing alright, yes, eveeeerryything alright!
I wonder if I should take in the Inishmore experience on closing and not make it an all Sweeney Day. Alas, we'll see.
Is that cute redhed girl from the previews still in Inishmore?
Post 800! I'm so glad we revived this thread.
CQT, I take back my compliments about you. Anyone who cannot appreciate the magnificence that is U2 is definitely crazy.
Pat, you should definitely try to see Inishmore, whether on Saturday or Sunday.
ETA: Pat, Alison Pill is the only female in the cast, and I wouldn't call her redheaded, so I'm gonna say no. You're probably thinking of Kerry Condon.

oh, Elphie!
You know that I'm just "jay kaying" you guys!
Posting an anti-U2 comment on a U2 thread would be like sticking my head in a quisinart!
Hey! Your avatar is just absurdly adorable. :)
I think I just might. I rarely go to plays. I'm a musical kind of guy, but this looks like it might just be my sort of thing.
Thanks, Pat.
Did you see my edit in my last post?
I usually prefer musicals as well, but I absolutely love this play. And it might be a good combo with Sweeney! You'd definitely have a bloody weekend!
The short haired girl in the wife beater? That isn't a female? Hmmm, I may need to head back to the preview video. :)
No, that is a female. Which video are you watching? I'm just wondering if it's Kerry Condon (who played the role off-bway) or Alison Pill (who is in it now).
Hmmm, I guess it isn't as red as I thought.

That's Alison Pill, and she's still in it.
Yeah, I like her. She was in the movie "Pieces of April," so you may have seen her in that.
She was also in Dear Wendy with the thexy Jamie Bell
Never saw either. Pieces of April has been on my list for a while though. Maybe I'll try and watch it before then.
Have any of you ladies seen [title of show]?
I haven't seen Dear Wendy; is it good?
I haven't seen [title of show], either.
Dear Wendy is quite interesting. If only to see how the danish view Americans. Miz Pill is quite good in it, though there is gratuitious nudity (mainly, her boobies flying EVERYWHERE)
the post, there are two of she!
Pat, you should definitely rent Pieces of April. It's a good movie. Alison's actually my least favorite in the movie, but that's not necessarily a bad thing when you've got Patricia Clarkson, Oliver Platt, and Katie Holmes at her best in the cast...and that Gallagher kid wasn't bad either! And Derek Luke...Oh, and Lillias White! Good cast! Alison was good, but I think she went just a touch overboard as the obnoxious sister.
And Claire, I think she's got a red head wig in the show, even though she's blonde in real life.
Haven't seen [title of show] either, Pat, but I've heard good things about it.
Yeah, her hair in the show is deninitely different than her natural color, but I still don't know if I'd call it red.
I think I'll watch my Pieces of April dvd tonight after talking about it!
Nic, I didn't get the chance to NetFlix anything else (like The Office) this week because we had 3 dvds out and it would have taken too long to get them back to NetFlix and get new ones before I leave. So, unfortunately, I'll have to save that 'til the next time I'm home. I did watch a few of my U2 dvds, though, which was fun!
Hmmmm, gratuitous boobies.
Sorry, I have to make up for all the estrogen in the room.
Anyway...I might rent it this weekend. I need to return a few movies tomorrow anyway.
A quick "Inishmore" cast preperation.
well, it's actually, like, for 5 seconds.
I'm male... just.... gay.
I cease to count, obviously.
Hmmm...I didn't realize the writer/director of Pieces of April also wrote About a Boy and What's Eating Gilbert Grape.
Claire, how was Raising Arizona? I really do need to get around to seeing it. I love Holly Hunter...Too bad you didn't quite get to have as extensive a movie-fest as expected, but catching up on U2 DVDs is always fun! I got a bunch last semester, but I never got around to watching any of them...well, a big chunk of that can be attributed to the fact that the 7-disc lot of new DVDs from that Pat group last year only play on my computer. Ugh!
I'm male... just.... gay. I cease to count, obviously.
I had absolutely no clue. I always assumed you were female. That's why we shouldn't assume. Sorry about that.
Well, Pat, you know what they say when you "assume"?
Do you have any other plans for your NYC visit, or just Sweeney (and possibly Inishmore)? How long are you coming (just the long weekend)?
