Seriously. I'm totally into the puss after watching this.

Thank god I don't have that channel. That way I don't have to worry about even accidentally seeing a second of this.

It'll take more than the vile idiots on that sure to be vile program for me to abandon c0ck and ass. But yeah, that show looks pretty revolting.

Someone elsewhere posted a Dorothy Parker quote, which I will amend for this occasion:

What saddens me most is the thought of all the young gays around the country who are going to watch this and think this is something to aspire to.

I dont really see a problem. While I'd rather not hang out with these guys, I'm sure I'll watch just like I do all of the RHW shows. I'm sure they'll embarrass themselves plenty just like the housewives, but that doesnt have to embarrass me.

Wow, this show looks tasteless and pathetic. It has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Shallow, materialistic lisping queens prancing around New York? No Thank You. This show is insulting.

How about a series focusing on the men and women in the LGBT community that are actually out there making a difference? Where's that show?

"I only date power gays". What are power gays? Someone who can walk to the front of the line at Splash or Therapy?

Was that Reichen Lehmkuhl or whatever his name is in the show?

If this is insulting to other gays, are the 'real housewife' shows insulting to real housewives?

They represent themselves. Anyone who is going to take that as a representation already has their opinion of gays firmly in place.

At least this crap is on Logo and not a more high profile cable channel. So the damage to the gay community should be contained.

I'm going to watch this for one reason... Mike Ruiz.

Hot doesn't even begin to describe him. He gave me a hug last year at an event and I thought I was going to pass out.

Mike Ruiz is also developing a show about a group of elitist gay men titled "The 10 10's". GREAT! Yet another show depicting gay men as pretentious, shallow and materialistic. It's disturbing because it's being perpetuated by people in our very own community.

There are two sides to every coin and not all gay men are self-obsessed, manipulative, elitist and shallow.

I'm so sick and tired of our community being portrayed like this. No wonder we aren't taken seriously.

I hope both projects fail.

"not all gay men are self-obsessed, manipulative, elitist and shallow."

But, some are - and for whatever reason, a lot of people like to watch the negative stuff. How many discussions about the 'real housewives' shows take place right here?

I disagree with the thought that it shouldn't be on a more mainstream station - then we could truly claim equal opportunity offensiveness.

These guys don't offend me as gay men, they offend me as human beings - representing much of what I find disdainful. But, I also felt that way about the ladies of SEX AND THE CITY - I just didn't decide that all single women in Manhattan were like that.

Again, if someone classifies all gay men a certain way, and points to that show as proof, I'd say their opinion was already formed - and I couldn't care less what they think.
