Cashews & nuts are hard to digest . The salt on cashews is no good & unsalted cashews have no taste

Unsalted Cashews are fine if you roast them in a 325 degree oven for 20 minutes - stir them once in the middle and let them get a nice golden color - they taste great, aren't roasted in oils, and have heart-healthy fats in them which we all need. I eat them every day. I also found this great recipe where you take raw almonds, toss them in a beaten eggwhite, then coat them with your favorite seasonings (chili powder, chicken rub, many things work) and bake them for 20 minutes at 325 on a foil lined baking sheet. They're great to snack on and also can be chopped up and used to coat chicken for baking, etc; AND if you want a sweet treat - try, instead of chili or salty coatings, coating them with a mixture of cinnamon and spenda, then bake...sweet and yummy!
Well, sounds like I'm going to be coatin' those raw almonds with eggwhites night and day from now on...that sounds delicious.

wildcat - I'm tellin ya - its the best and easiest recipe - It was in one of those flyer thingy's that GNC sends out to people with gold cards - occasionally if you trudge through all the ads for supplements - there are a few good pieces of advice in that thing.
I just ate a handful of almonds and cashews and BOY were they good!
Steak and french fries with cheese and mayo and ketchup. UGH so gross but so good.
