So, the guy who Christie created the high level position for with Port Authority, is willing to testify against him for immunity?!
"David Wildstein, whom Christie appointed to a position in the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, has already supplied a legislative committee with the most damning documents in the case so far"
"Give him a position at the top of the agency; he's a good friend of the governor.
That's how David Wildstein was introduced to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in 2010, according to a former employee with extensive knowledge of the agency's hiring practices."

People have been sounding the alarm on christie for years, but most have not listened because they find him amusing, they think he is up front and there has been nothing as sloppy or concrete. Til now,
Just saying.

As JerseyGirl said - I am sad that this writer is saying that this scandal has not hurt his chances. Of course we're still waiting for whatever the rest of the players have to say and what evidence is yet to be revealed. Then it could be a whole new ballgame. But for now his chances don't seem to be hurting.
Consider that most of his potential presidential opponents have avoided slamming him on the controversy. Or that a New Hampshire poll released Thursday showed him leading all Republican comers — by a larger margin than in September. Most of those questioned had heard of Bridgegate, and 14 percent of GOP voters said it made them like him more.

If he does run, I would expect those New Hampshire numbers to change drastically. Especially after his repub competitors start bringing up the scandals at every primary debate.
Poor Chris Christie just can't seem to catch a break these days.

It was being talked about in the Fall before the election and Christie just steamrolled people asking about it. Unfortunately the story had no "traction" until the emails were released.

Another scandal...
"Gov. Chris Christie's brother was part of a group that bought properties near the Harrison PATH station before a $256 million renovation of the facility was publicly approved, according to a report on NorthJersey.com.
Todd Christie and his partners then renovated and flipped the lots for almost triple their purchase price after the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey gave its OK to the project, the report said."

And, this is about to get even uglier for Christie.
The Times is now reporting Wildstein, Christie's former Port Authority official who pled the fifth after getting subpoenaed by the NJ legislature, has evidence that Christie's administration ordered the lane closings and that Christie himself knew about them as they were happening.
Christie's already been found to be lying about how closely he and Wildstein knew each other and it's not too surprising Wildstein would turn after Christie cut him loose. My guess is by releasing the statement Wildstein is trying to curry favor to get immunity in exchange for releasing all he knows about Christie.
This is particularly bad considering the governor is now on the record so many times saying he didn't know anything about it until it broke in the press just a few weeks ago.
