It would have been more appropriate if the parents with the unruly children were asked to de-plane until their kids were under control.

Snafu, that would never happen in this day and age. Parents don't have to control their kids in todays society. To do so would stifle their independence and not let them express their individuality which is just unthinkable.

PJ, the stewardesses should automatically stick a xanax-pop in every childs mouth upon entering an aircraft. Tell the parents it's due to the new FAA regulations just like that 6 hours they had to arrive early for their flight.

Screaming at little kids and throwing around the F bomb at a BABY? Really people? SHE was justified?

Don't get me wrong, I can't stand loud, annoying kids either...but that's a bit extreme. I may not want to hear or be bothered by them....but I don't want to hear any ADULT screaming either. At least SHE should know better.

Mama maybe not at screaming at the children themselves but at the parents of said children, yes. I have been on a number of long flights where the parents allow their little darlings to run up and down the aisles. It might be cute the very first time but after the 16th or 17th it becomes tiresome and one tends to become annoyed. If the kids were being that disruptive, I am sure there were more then one or two other passengers saying "Yessssss!" under their breath when she started letting her **** fly.
On two flights in particular I was on, even after the flight attendants asked the parents to control the kids the children continued to run up and down the aisles after a brief "Time Out" in their seats.
I do feel there is a serious lack of parenting happening in today's world. I came from a household where if we stepped out of line and caused our parents any sort of public embarrassment, there were serious consequences to pay. We knew it and we knew better then to run amok, or fail to come under some sort of composure after getting "that certain look" from either my mother or father.

If you call a really bratty kid out on his/her behavior and stare him/her down, you usually get (fake) tears. Humiliate the child further by slowly clapping and saying, "That was great. Much better than the crappy movie they're gonna make us watch."

A woman a know (and admire) once shut up a bratty kid in a department store by fixing her steely blue eyes on the kid and saying, "You THINK you're cute...but you're NOT."

That kid was frightened. Of what, I'm not sure, but he shut right up.

Weren't the kids "rushing towards the cockpit" as well? Why didn't they get kicked off?

I worked in child care for almost 5 years. I have no tolerance for parents who ignore their children's bad behavior, especially the ones that make BS excuses. If I can control 6 preschoolers for hours on end, you can control one. Especially one you have the legal right to manhandle.

When I was on a flight from London to Montreal there was this kid who was climbing over the passenger seats row by row entering and leaving the plane. His parents were completely oblivious even when they got a warning from a flight attendant in the middle of the flight.

Needless to say that experience makes me empathize with Ivana.

If having the f word hurled at their little heads serves to change their utterly appalling behavior--and/or that of the parents--then they're going to be much better off in life than had this not happened.

So yes, I'll say she f words were justified.

(At any rate, they're going to hear the same word on the pay-per-view porn they'll watch while their parents sit by seemingly unaware.)

So from what I gather out of all the responses regarding Ivana Trump's behavior the majority feel she is justified for using a curse word not only in front of children but *at* them?

Are you people crazy? That is not justifiable behavior. The parents should have been notified but she had no right to shout expletives at children!

And then she goes and verbally assaults a defenseless baby who was crying and didn't know any better.

I'm glad they kicked her off the plane. Serves her right. It seems to me that the "brat of entitlement" in this situation was Ivana.
