Dame: If you like really dark roast rich flavor, nothing surpasses Barista French, IMO. Tully's and Diedrich's French are also topnotch. Newmann's Own is good, but one level below the former in strength and richness, IMO.

They have a few coffees that I like but it was hard to find just tgose coffees. Had to buy the variety pack and their coffee is not cheap. Don't li,e the one cup at a time thing. I like to top my cup off at times. Also, the one I used never seemed to put out the seemed to put out the same amount of water you poured in. A whole cup would end up being half and then all of a sudden I would be making a cup and the water that was evidently sitting in there decided it was time to come out and my cup would be overflowing.

I've had one for years and years. And I love it.
I purchased it initially because I found it so wasteful to throw out a partial pot of coffee every day, when I am generally a one-cup per morning person - and even the lowest amount in my old brewer made more than one cup. The Keurig seemed like a good solution.
I've upgraded once since my original machine, and now have one that has a few more bells and whistles. It has a full reservoir for water, but I usually don't keep water in overnight.

What I really really love is the variety. Coffee types, teas, hot chocolate - and I also have the gold cup to use my own ground coffee (although it gets little use).

I registered with Keurig.com, and earn points when I purchase products, which results in discounts. (Not to mention discounts you get automatically for being a 'member').

My sister and brother-in-law are both big, serious, strong brew coffee drinkers, and they purchased one, after sampling mine a few years ago, and are even bigger fans than I am.

I also have an espresso machine, which gets almost no use these days. The Keurig is just that good.

pps - my current favorite coffee is the old fashioned "eight o'clock" brand. It's medium-bodied, and has that really good old-fashioned flavor.

The member price on the Keurig website (when you register) makes them very affordable.

And, by the way, I was talking about Keurig makers with friends recently. I was reminiscing about my mom's old Presto Percolator, which made just about the best cup of coffee ever. The Keurig "eight o'clock" comes close!

Try the Tim Horton's Keurig cups (available at Bed Bath and Beyond). They are excellent but everyone seems to have discriminating taste when it comes to coffee brands.

I just found the pods at Trader Joe's the other day. The coffee was pretty good. It was labeled as a medium roast and I think it actually did taste like a medium roast (I've found that the Keurig tends to run a little less intense than what the labels usually say). The price was also great, $2.99 for a box of 7, which, as Trader Joe's likes to point out on their signs when they can, works out to 43 cents per cup.

Our local "wellness Center" sells "Canninbiss Mocha Mint" K cups.
