I seriously hope she's okay. it was painful. she landed on her upper back. my god that was no joke.

she struggled with the cape. the lacing and the dancer pulled it off thinking it was untied.

she did continue the song. sang it live. and stuck through it.
lyrically it was pretty spot on.

Oh please, she's had rougher sex than that fall. She won't break.

It's like that time she fell off a horse, only to tape the Hung Up video shortly after. She's a trooper!

I wish someone would post the whole performance to see how much of a trooper she really is and how she pulled it together for the rest of it and not just focus on the negativity.

I just watched it with the vocals. When she is falling backwards there is complete silence. No gasping, no noise, no "oh **** or fuk". I'm not buying she is singing live. But on release day, I will still be buying the cd.

It's pretty clear she's singing live when she starts to recover and sing again.

So you think she was lip syncing, fell backwards down the stairs, and then started singing live?

because when you fall backwards.... you don't necessarily think- let me keep singing into a mic.

she was clearly singing live. you hear the thud of the mic hit the floor when she fell. there are 4 lines in the song that she didn't sing as she was pulling the cape off. she walked onto the podium and continues.

she sang with a backing track during the chorus that were low in the mix.

clearly her voice is the loudest in the mix.

let's focus on the fact that she is a consummate pro and finished the damn song as best as she possibly good after a very striking, harsh/hard fall 10 ft off a platform.

give her a freaking break.

When you fall backwards, if you are singing, your first reaction is not to decide whether or not to I should continue singing into the mic. If you are falling backwards holding a live mic, you would gasp, at the very least. I love Madonna...but Namo help me out here.
