1) What Inspires You?

Music with a strong horn section. Artist Mary Blair mostly- Her colors, her style is devine.

2) If you can spend 1 day with 1 person (dead or alive) who would it be and what would you talk about?

My maternal grandmother- I never had the chance to meet her. I get all my artistic talent from her- and I hear she was an amazing person. here is a couple drawing from her portfolio for college:




she got in to Chouinard with a full scholarship- but never went... she got married and had kids instead. So taht is who I'd want to meet.

3) If you were putting together a scrapbook of your life..what would be in it?

Omg- about 5 pages dedicated to Diet Coke and then all Hairspray.

My friend Gabby. She is my rock.

What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?

The Hairspray Movie. I'm a broken record. But I started the blog last year in June- and it really has been an incredible journey- that I never expected.

What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?

As much as I love music- I have never been to a concert. Is that suprising? hmm that may be lame- i'll think about that one.

If your house were on fire, what material possessions would you grab on the way out?

I actually have them already to go in a box (you just never know where I live.) I have my yearbooks, family and friend photos, birth certificates etc,
I would try to grab the computer if I could.


If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?

I'm not sure what they would say. Hopefully that I had a good spirit. My friends are pretty honest, so I am sure it would be accurate.
