1. What has been the best part of working with the HAIRSPRAY movie team?

I spoke with Marc on the phone once- that was cool! Meeting the cast- who were all lovely. I dunno, I just get a great vibe from everyone involved. I am just so thankful to be a small part of it all.

2. How many times have you seen HAIRSPRAY: Broadway/Tour etc.

Just twice. I know - some fan. But I've only been to NY once and I have missed the tour for numerous reasons. It is in San Diego like, next week. But I will miss it once again- and probably for the last time. I hope to go back to NY this year.

3. Do you love Jenn Gambatese? [the orignal Brenda and one-time Penny Pingleton]

I do. I am happy that she lent her voice to the movie. She is very cute.

What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?

I want to sky dive, like really bad. I dont think its the daredevil in me- its the Peter Pan in me wanting to fly.

What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given?

I do paintings for people- and I feel that they are all pretty nice gifts. I dont know what the alst great gift I was given was... this title of celebrity for the day was nice. So thanks Diva.

If you had to be someone else for one day, who would you be, and what would you do?

I'd want to be a pregnant woman- it's an experience no man will ever know- and I feel the ability to give birth to another human being is beautfiful. Id like to feel that kind of spirituality and belonging and the million other emotions that come with it.

What do you do when you need cheering up?

I sing or dance- it usually make sme happy.

What was your childhood ambition?

To be a dancer, or entertainer rather.

What has been your proudest moment, so far?

It has happened within the last year- just knowing that I am finally headed on the right track. *sings Pippin* May be I CAN become something in this world.

Its hard for me to look at myself and make that kind of judgement- I try to do whats right. I try to stay positive. My least favorite- I dont stick up for myself enough- I am pretty non confrontational.
