What about Todd Solondz's HAPPINESS in which one of the characters is a nice, wholesome family man who turns out to be a pedophile who drugs and rapes his 11 year old son's male friend?

While getting very very upsetting in parts, it still makes this unbelievably disturbing subject matter and even makes it funny. Even the pedophilia. (Like "There's blood in my B.M."). Excellent movie.

Das Experiment left me feeling sick for days. Its a German film about an experiment with 14 men in a "controlled" prison enviroment.

hmhmmm

Sin City, that movie was just f*cked up... and it's weird because I honeslty am remembering as if it were a comic book or something. I'm pretty sure it was originally a comic book type thing, so they filmed it that way. Honestly, the filming was just weird, it was cool though... it seriously just felt like it wasn't actually real. The movie was nuts.

I can't think of anythin else as of now... that movie was crazy tho. Guy who eats people, guy who rapes little girls, hookers who kill, a crookedish cop, and just some other crazy ass people and **** and everything somewhat tied together in one weird town.

Crazy movie.

Thirteen is a fantastic, yet terrorfying film
Trainspotting is great save the shooting up. Always freaks me out.
Octane. Now that is a creepy movie. I adore Jonathan Rhys Myers but not in this one. It's just creepy.

Jess! I was watching Far From Home on cable the other day and couldn't believe Anthony was killing all those people! I had to take a moment to myself after that one!

Is that based on the Stanford prison study done in the 1970s? Because that was pretty disturbing by itself...

I loved Happiness, too. Excellent film.

I agree with the others and I add Oliver Stone's Heaven and Earth. That upset me a lot.

Besides being an absolutely awful film, "Exorcist: The Beginning" (the Renny Harlin version) was the only movie I've ever watched that has literally made me feel ill. I could not actually finish it after seeing the scene in which the little boy is torn apart by hyenas. I turned it off immediately afterwards because it disturbed me so much.

Das Experiment went out of its way to say that it wasn't based on anything with several disclaimers...but the idea had to come from somewhere.

It may seem weird, but the most disturbing film to me was a TV movie called "No One Would Tell" starring Candace Cameron and Fred Savage(I know, considering the stars...but still...)...it's about a relationship that ends up becoming completely physically and mentally abusive and at the end where she finally tries to break, she goes to hang out with him as friends and he kills her. My sister just ended a very similar relationship, so it really freaked me out.

"Fear" starring Reese Witherspoon and Mark Wahlberg was also disturbing on that relationship note.

Thirteen I'd definitely agree with, and I also found 28 Days Later really shocking, imagine if a similar virus was ever created, maybe not one that made people go crazy like that but coudl spread and be lethal that quickly.
