New Yorkers opinion on Bloomberg

For those of you in New York, Im curious about your opinions of Michael Bloomberg. Im also wondering how he was able to get three terms as Mayor in your city. Does it surprise you hes doing so poorly in the Democratic primary? Im curious if New Yorkers share the same view as him as the rest of the country.

Wow. Shocking that not any of this, much of which is against the law, has ever become public until just now. ROTFLMAO. I guess the students were eager to drop a dime on you cause they were sick of having to compare the actions and motivations of every historical figure to "what Dolly Levi would have done". Man, I would have ratted you out too.

I am neither friend nor foe of Bloomberg, but I am hard pressed to believe any of this.

The third term happened at the same time as the Wall Street ressession hit. He convinced the city council to vote to allow him to have a third term because he convinced them that it would be good for the city to have a mayor who knows finance and while this was going on. However, not too long after he left office, city council reversed that and brought back term limits.

Also, the racist stop and frisk policy. I remember during the outcry during all this, he was being interviewed by an nyc talk radio station. The thing people had about this was that it was targeting blacks and Hispanics. When this was going on the host asked Bloomberg about it. His response was that if black and Hispanic folks didn’t commit so much crime then they wouldn’t need to be targeted. Now that we see hm running for president there goes his minority vote.
