When Jimmy Kimmel's show was shut down for no valid reason, Stephen Colbert said that he wanted to invite Jimmy to visit his show. I hope that still happens. In fact, I hope he invites other late night talk show hosts, as well. I would love to hear them offer their perspectives, as a group, about this current MAGA craziness. Must-see TV.

I don't know where the show might air, but I'd like to see a politically-themed "open mike" featuring Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Myers, and Jimmy Fallon. Special Guest: David Letterman (but he might decline an offer).

Let them talk about whatever they want: the "death" of late night, freedom of speech, Trump, ...
Maybe rent a theater (perhaps Chicago - McCormick Place), one night only event, and film it for Netflix, or MAX.

It's happening Tuesday (9/30). In fact, Stephen is on Jimmy's show and Jimmy is on Stephen's show. So I guess it'll be watch one and record the other. Should be good!

"The firm, using Morning Consult data, shows sentiment for the company and its Disney+ platform have fallen to levels not seen in at least two years. Sentiment from Democrats, who had typically had better views of Disney before the past two weeks, soured more strongly than Republicans. Though both groups showed significant declines.
“The last two weeks for Disney have been as eventful to say the least, and have been equally controversial,” analyst James Heaney wrote in a Thursday note to clients. The analyst noted a recent price hike for Disney+ added to the plunging mood around the brand."
