according to the BBC the shoe tosser was a member of the media named Muntadar al-Zaidi.

Here's what I don't understand.

This moron actually made an appearance near our home - about 5 blocks away, actually. We didn't know about it until that morning - in fact, I read about it on the news sites.

And then, all our major streets were blocked off, and I actually had to show id to come and go from my own neighborhood.

And this was a couple of years ago.

SO, what has happended to all that security that was mandated for our 'leader'?

And just as an aside - to his defenders, I can only say, "ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME?!?!?"

People, who are defending him because it is the office of the Presidency, remember he is not the president of Iraq. He is the man who ordered the occupation. It's like if King George came and talked the colonials before the Revolutionary War. People are going to be mad because hundreds probably thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens have died. I know you think this is wrong that I am defending this but you have to look at this through the eyes of the world. Get your news from BBC not just FoxNews, MSNBC, CNN. It is because of this man that our country is looked at like heartless conquerers and not liberators.
