I like this season so far. I didn't watch last season but I like a lot of the designers this season. Is it me or were the judges unnecessarily harsh to the people in the bottom?

Glad it's back and in NEW YORK! Yes,I agree, the Judges were really harsh. I would like to see MICHAEL KORS come up with a finished design in 5 HOURS! I can't stand him, his designs have been Passe for years now. He designs for Upper East side OLD LADIES WHO LUNCH!! I like some of the designers, this should be a good season.
Oh and I really took offense when Heidi remarked about CASSANOVA. " Does he have a hearing problem or he just can't understand English!." She is SUCH a bitch!!! Like her ENGLISH is Perfect? Give the guy a break, so his English and comprehension of the language is lacking. BIG DEAL.I find him very funny. I thought this show was all about diveristy? She is NICER when she is pregnant !

Ok, I really don't understand the judges' opinions in this episode. I thought Andy was a clear winner, and he had a total look from head to toe! I thought Gretchen's piece was Zzzzzzz. I think they eliminated the wrong person because her outfit was certainly better than others. Oh well, lets see what this season brings!!

In a 90 minute format, they have more time to show a lot of stuff this season.

HAHA! I can see that. Although I think it should be Angry flight attendant looks like Michael Kors since I (we) knew him first. Just saying.

Since I missed this episode and I won't be home for the next couple of days, would anyone tell me who won and went home tonight?
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Can't stand Gretchen....she may be getting the bitch edit but everything that comes out of her mouth merits it.
Thought Christopher should have won...I was genuinely surprised when all the judges ragged on it.

I agree, Christopher should have won---can't figure out the judges and want they like/don't like. The "Panty" design should have been the Big loser of the night and not "Safe". WTF!

I'm glad that Andy won...thought the detail was amazing on his ribbon dress, but was surprised that Gretchen didnt call him out on the runway for getting help. She is so flipping annoying! I did like her outfit tho...girl is talented. Just wish she wouldnt act like noone else is.

I think it has KILLED her to not be the winnner the last two weeks but she'll never admit that out loud, and certainly not on camera! And you know damn well how they edit these things to skew how things ACTUALLY are. Look how lovely and genuine a guy Santino appears on his new show -- and during his PR I thought he was a real a$$.
While I do think she needs to keep her mouth shut -- her clothes are really beautiful and she can definitely go pretty far. The judges could care less about anything other than what you put on the runway.

I am soo over the superfluous 90 minute episodes. I don't need the bickering and the bitching, seeing **** behind the runway or when they're back at the apartment. I really hope they go back to their old format.

OK finally a great 90 minute episode! and for half of it, I was like, SHUT UP GRETCHEN! God, what an obnoxious bitch. I felt sorry for Michael C, even if he did have immunity and didn't work as hard as the others. They could have communicated with him in a different way.
OH and that Tim Gunn confrontation at the end was sooo unexpected and great and they deserved it.

That was absolutely awful. I usually don't talk back to the TV, but I was loud enough last night calling Gretchen rude names that I woke my partner up. The woman is pathetic and doesn't even have the courage of her convictions..when cornered, she started kissing ass and backpedaling.

I was reading Laura Bennett's blog on the Lifetime website and she said that when the contestants are being judged, we only see about 15 minutes, but that they can be grilled up there for 8 hours. Tim must have been beside himself sitting in the background and watching. He is my hero for calling Gretchen out, and chastising the other designers for following her like sheep. If you've been viewing his video blog on his Facebook page, he repeatedly refers to the judges as the crack-smoking judges, LOL. In the early years, he would defend the judges choices. But no more.
