EIGHT hours of grilling? That sounds doubtful.
Gretchen really needs to be bi%%h smacked around. I, too, was yelling at the tv last night. I was really rooting for her to get kicked off. What a two faced, whiney, opportunist witch. Her little side kick is no better.
The sneak peak at next week's show looks dicey.

Best 90 minutes of television...EVER. I nearly SH*T myself watching Heidi hold back laughter at a crying Gretchen. I love her Teutonicness.
As for the 8 hour grillings...my guess is that the entire judging (of all people...top and bottom) can take up to 8 hours to film. And that, I totally buy.
This has gotten so freaking good.

As bad as I felt for Michael C, I'm really glad this happened. I was on the fence about Gretchen, hoping that it was the selective editing making her out to be worse than the others (though I actually think Ivy is worse than Gretchen, but only by a bit), but here she really did show her true colors. The back pedaling was truly amazing and there is no way she's going to be able to climb out of that hole she has put herself into with the others now.
I can only imagine that Valerie wants to take back everything she said about her initial response to ending up on the team she ended up on. I knew from the start which team would win because I knew there was no way the amount of ego on Team Luxe would form anything remotely cohesive.

Ivy's proving herself to be one of those people who stand behind a leader and once said leader finishes with their spiel, pops her head up from behind and comes up with a resounding "Yeah" instead of an original thought of their own.

Regarding the 8 hours of judging, yes, I think that can happen (total runway time). I remember reading in an earlier season that in one contest, the models were stuck in their outfits for 7 hours and weren't able to go to the bathroom. Must really be tough for those outfits that are sewn or glued onto their bodies at the last minute.

I guess I can believe that the whole DAY -- their workroom time, the show, the grilling, the deliberating THEN the decisions - are easily 8 hours. I just find it impossible that they are being GRILLED for 8 hours.

Well that was probably one of the most uncomfortable grillings on the show! Tears, throwing people under the bus, 'the bitch' being taken down, judges ripping them to shreds, the works!
Loved that Tim stood in. It'll be interesting to see how the dynamic changes now that everyone will be agreed that Gretchen is all that she was accused of and more, whereas before it was just whispers and unsaid eye-rolling.
Ivy's outfit was ten times worse than A.J's. Can't believe they let that slide. I never liked his stuff generally and totally didn't buy his 'my designs are so quirky' shtick, because they never were, but a boring shirt dress was still miles ahead of the atrocity Ivy sent down the runway.
I suppose they just wanted to focus on taking down Gretchen for a big finish, not settle for her sidekick.
I was really shocked by what Team Luxe made, I was expected greatness from their brainstorming session. You could tell that Gretchen took over with her aesthetic of blah casual. Wasn't blown away by the other team, but you could tell who the clear winner was even if it was flawed.
Really not sure who the front runner is at this point. Mondo strikes me as someone who could grow into something impressive, or f*ck up one week and go home because he hasn't made enough impact yet. Valerie and Andy perhaps too.
I'd wager that win was merely biding time for Casanova. One luck-out amongst a series of hot messes. I think Gretchen may have shot herself in the foot now. As much as they claim to purely judge whats in front of them and nothing else, I wouldn't be surprised if they kept her knocked down and focus on the underdogs.

I was expecting one of the judges to say to Gretchen, "Don't tell us how to do our job," because that's exactly what she was doing, trying to do nothing but save her own ass. Bossing everyone around including the judges. Truly unheard of.

I liked AJ. His stuff was cute and different. I think they should have sent Gretchen home. Of course, her bitchiness might equal ratings. She and Ivy should start a Bitchfest Club.

Ok, I'm late to the party, but I had a marathon this weekend. This season is great. I think the challenges have been wonderful and different and I actually really like a lot of the clothes. They seem more wearable than seasons past.
Yes, Gretchen is awful. I liked her a lot at the beginning (and that first outfit she made was STUNNING. If I was 9 inches taller, I'd run out right now to buy it). But she does make beautiful clothes.
Random notes: Casanova constantly makes me smile on camera, and I think Valerie and Peach are hysterical. And Christopher...yumm! Great great cast.

Eh, I'm not enamored with Chris's looks like a lot of folks seem to be. Didn't he do the pants with the blouse? That was a really lovely look out of a blah collection.
Casanova deserved this win, although I really loved April's jacket.
It was nice to see Gretchen get schooled. She really needs someone (Tim Gunn) to level her off a bit.

LOVE this season!

The last two episodes were television gold, so I can't wait to see what happens. I absolutely LOVED watching Gretchen's catastrophic runway moment. The only thing better would be to watch Gretchen watch it. The Tim Gunn bomb at the end was epic! Then Ivy's attempt to stir the pot by starting rumors about Michael C. paired with the runway results of the last episode. FABULOUS! Television writers across the country collectively groaned as they realized the cast of Project Runway were kicking their asses. Remember when people thought reality TV would be the death of television? This is why we have reality TV. Because reality can be some of the funniest sh*t we'll ever experience. Crazy Chicken Nugget Lady and the Double Rainbow Guy are living proof.

If you haven't watched Tim's video blog, you must. I went back and watched his videos from last season too, and his comments regarding the final (Seth Aaron, Emilio, and Mila) and the reunion were so entertaining. I can't get enough of him, LOL.

She was simply AWFUL. That she truly feels HER behavior was justified simply floors me. She attacked Michael, but then was "offended" by his language? OY.
This is one "reunion" show that is going to be interesting!
One shining moment was Gretchen actually saying something NICE to Michael. But then she ruined it by her behavoir on the runway and attitude towards Heidi and her comments in the waiting room after being "safe".

Mondo, Andy and April are my favourites for Fashion Week.
They each have definite design aesthetics and are easily the most innovative out of the bunch. I'd probably be happy with any of them winning, but Mondo is the front runner I think with Andy snapping at his heels. Can't wait to see what they come up with.
Ivy is ridiculous, but I do agree that Michael C seems to be overstaying his welcome with every week. I just don't see much talent there, or a cohesive style. Everything looks like a regurgitated design he's seen elsewhere.
