Quick question regarding DREAMGIRLS movie

Is there anything in it that a 9 year old shouldn't see? My niece is dying to see it but I'm not sure I can take her and I knew you guys would be able to help.

Not at all. There were several kids at the screening I went to on Friday - in fact, I think some of Beyonce's videos are more risque than anything in the film.

I actually found that the drug use was handled quite responsibly in the film - showing disdain by others exposed to it's use and with some very real dangers and consequenses.

I just thought he was going to follow Curtis's suggestion and take off that "overly-bedazzled" shirt.

And he was, you know, starting REALLY SLOW, with just undoing his cuffs... and trying to take it off THAT way, and stuff.
