So, back to Margaret Thatcher...

While I can appreciate her success as a woman in a male dominated political apparatus, I still disagree with many of her policies.

I do find it ironic that at this time of government austerity that the UK has the funds to pay for a lavish ceremonial funeral. You would think that with her history, the private sector would be more than happy to foot the bill. Or better yet, the could sell ad space on her casket.

Even with her family asking for a ceremonial as opposed to a full "head of state" funeral - the procession will cost the UK Taxpayers in excess of 10M Pounds.
