Ha, i'm reading the Gawker recap right now, and it's literally made me lol several times. But:
Alex, channeling Larry Kramer's ghost, reminded everyone that the day was about Marriage Equality.
while lol at the sentiment, um, Gawker? Larry Kramer isn't dead.
Also, hopefully you all read the NYMag recaps? Those are pretty great, too.

Can't believe that after avoiding them for the past two seasons, I've gotten sucked back in. OK, to be honest, I didn't totally abandon them...I continued reading the recaps, just not actually watching the show.
Alex reminds me of, well, me in high school when I discovered politics and fervently BELIEVED that I could make a difference. I'm sure I pushed my issues in a know-it-all manner much of the time. Not that this is saying much, but of this particular group, I think she has the most substance, but I still find her to be grating.
Sonja is just hideous...this has been my first visual exposure.
Off to read the NYMag recap. Thanks for the tip!

"while lol at the sentiment, um, Gawker? Larry Kramer isn't dead."
Still, it doesn't sound inaccurate.

I'm starting to loathe all of them on all the shows- and yet- I watch!

I love the Real Housewives of New York City! Although I find Alex and Simon to be really weird, I do find their intentions to be in the right place. I felt bad for the way Sonja treated them, but they also chose the wrong time to speak in regards to their concerns over speaking.
Just bought the third season and although I've seen it, it's going to be so nice to watch it all the way through and thoroughly.

This is going to sound really mean, but I can't even look at Simon-there is something so doughy and creepy and grotesque about him, I literally turn away when he is on. Since day one of the series, I can't look at the man or listen to him. I feel like Ramona from Season One
Alex is getting that way with me too. Her "assertiveness" makes her so ugly to me and highlights her long face, enormous teeth and mouth and her garish looks of constipated consternation.
Oh and there is something definitely wrong with her kids. Bizarre.

I used to be creeped out by Simon (Alex, too, but Simon much more so), but he doesn't bother me so much anymore.
And the REAL question is: how's the Ramona wine?!

Ramona's wine is delicious! A really nice Pinot. I actually don't like wine wines much and I would drink this on a regular basis. It's lightly sweet and very smooth. Crisp and clean. Check it out.

I will next time I'm in NY! I'm big on white wine.
Also, you know you watch too much tv when: Sonja was IN MY DREAM last night.

When you drink it, you are required to say "Woyne" like Ramona. "I'd like some more WOYNE please!"

And to shout "Turtle Time" while dancing, of course.

I'm enjoying myself with this new season. Cindy is pretty interesting. Congrats to Sonja for joining Kelly as the most stupid and annoying person of RHONYC.

Her assistant told her to do the "bedroom eyes" this last fashion show, and it kinda worked, but her eyes popped at the end.
Her infamous walk last year was a bit funnier, plus the bitchy comments by Jill were kinda funny, she should have been tougher on Kelly though, who can't walk a runway to save her life and looked hideous.

Oh I hate Kelly. There is nothing about her that I like. Ramona is ridiculous, but you have to sort of love her in a weird way.

Cindy is a horse-face. Ramona was a hot mess tonight as usual. The preview footage of her doing her photo shoot next week made me pee my pants a little bit.

I love it, Jill and Alex are now friends! I'm in heaven. I hope they all gang up against Sonja and they kick her out of the show.

There's something wrong with Alex - she harbors so much resentment it's kind of sick. Jill is so self-righteous it's unbelievable. And I love that she's maintaining her story that she hasn't had a face-lift. Right..
