I hate the “this race needs to win” thing. It’s all about who is performing and doing better in a particular season. If Juju was doing horribly and won only because she’s Asian wouldn’t that just be like Trixie winning because...well I still don’t know how TF Trixie won. But you know what I’m saying.

I'm not saying a performer of a specific race needs to win by default. But it doesn't bode well for the All Stars to not be more diverse either, it is the most vanilla group I've seen, except for the one tie.

I mean, All-Stars itself is kind of a joke. I love it but it was only started as a way to give Chad Michales the crown and then brought back to give Alaska a crown. I look at this show like American Idol - the real winners most of the times haven’t been the “winners”. Maybe they didn’t get the $100K check but for so many of them, they can make close to that one weekend at Drag Con and are more “famous” than any of the girls with the actual crown.

Since the pandemic started, I've rewatched regular seasons 4 and 5, and All Stars 2, multiple times. This season is one that I'll never watch again. I usually enjoy even the not-so-great ones, but this has been hard to watch. Every element has just been so boring. Also, I can't stand Cracker, so I'm annoyed that she's made it so far into the competition. Her face, her body, her fashion, and her personality really rub me the wrong way, and the fact the she won $20,000 for that anemic lipsync this week is shameful. Honestly, I wish there had been no winner, and Ru had picked the person to go home. It was truly that bad.

And the All Stars haven’t been that diverse, sure, but go back and watch those seasons. Those winners all deserved it, so not sure who else you’d pick. (Well except for Trixie. How Shangela didn’t win, I don’t get. And that’s coming from a big Trixie/Katya fan.)

What “big girl” deserved to win and didn’t, though? Even my favorite Latrice didn’t “deserve” the win on any of her seasons.

Eureka is a very big girl, and I wouldn't mind if she had won over Aquaria. I thought she was more than deserving.

Just a heads up for anyone as invested in this as I am. I saw a post on reddit that the winner was allegedly leaked by the same person who leaked the AS3 and S12 winner, so just tread very carefully on social media, as I'm sure the leak is spreading like crazy.

Wasn't Ginger consider a "big girl"? She sure made a lot of self-deprecating humor based on her weight. I think the big girl who deserved to win did win. It was Alaska. She showed us all how big she was in episode 1 of season 5.

Seriously it's a shame that the double crowning happened last season. This episode reminded me of the All Stars 4 finale, Trinity did better overall, but Monet won the last episode. Shea did better overall (though not by that much), but Juju totally won that episode based on runway and that lipsync. Shea doing the robot for the first half of the song was... bizarre. And that Clap Back performance was really quite bad from all 3 of them. In the end people will have their opinions but I'm just going to take tonight to celebrate that this show exists and all the queens on it and all the underrepresented people they are able to represent.

Actually if we’re talking overall - Cracker should have won. I wanted Juju to win though but Shea winning just kinda pisses me off. She came in with and sustained the whole “Whoa is me I was robbed And now I’m in therapy because I can’t move past this injustice that was done to me when i was robbed of the crown that so obviously belonged to me” theme for the whole season and it’s like Ru bought it and validated it with a win. Whatever.
