Posted: 9/30/09 at 1:40amI am still trying to get used to left-handed underwear. This is all too much at once.

Well, the skirts a bit much -- but to each his own.
The "tights" look more like leggings....and are really no different than rocker skinny jeans.

Posted: 9/30/09 at 6:53amThe skirt could potentially work (a la Marc Jacobs), but not with the mantyhose at the same time. Even those don't seem bad. Like dramamama said, they just seem like skinny jeans made out of a lightweight material, so aside from the issue of how to disguise your junk, I'd probably even wear them (after losing twenty pounds or so).

It's a little disturbing that I was pretty much wearing that same outfit yesterday....I'm gonna have to give it a BIG thumbs down!
Although, maybe that outfit would work on TheatreDiva....

Posted: 9/30/09 at 8:20amI refuse to decide until I hear where Clinton & Stacy stand on this issue.

Hmmm, I also wear practically the same thing almost every day. Maybe if the skirt were longer. Each to his own, but my opinion is no thanks on the guys.
A friend of mine wore a kilt years ago and he could carry it off like no woman ever can. It had a different effect than this outfit, though.

Posted: 9/30/09 at 10:32amIt'll be hip for a couple of years in specialty boutiques catering to the club kids, but that's about as far as I see it going.
#10re: Ready for Mantyhose?
Posted: 9/30/09 at 10:51amI'm not sure. I didn't like how it looked at all. But, I thought the shirt was too baggy, making the skirt look stupid. And the guy's shoes with the mantyhose looked weird too.

Posted: 9/30/09 at 10:53amI say bring them on! Maybe not the skirt, but I will totally wear the leggings...with a dance belt if need be.

I could totally see this worn in the club scene. Especially in London where fashion is a bit freer.
But I feel as if he was wearing the skirt wrong. That piece of ribbon or whatever it was that was hanging down looked like it should have been tied or something.

Posted: 9/30/09 at 12:40pmI always wish that kilts would catch on for me here, outside of the IML crowd.

Would you wear your kilt correctly?
#15re: Ready for Mantyhose?
Posted: 9/30/09 at 12:44pmThoughts on those aside, can we please have a moratorium on the invention of new portmanteaus with the word "man" in them? I already loathe mancation so, so much.
#16re: Ready for Mantyhose?
Posted: 9/30/09 at 12:48pmWeird. My dad's been taking salt-water fishing mancations for decades and had no idea he was so ahead of his time. He's such a trendsetter!

Does that mean with no drawers under it? If so, no. I don't like to flop about.

Posted: 9/30/09 at 3:25pmI think Alan Cumming has been wearing that stuff for 15 years. No big deal, really.
#22re: Ready for Mantyhose?
Posted: 9/30/09 at 6:21pmIt will go great with Kramer's "Bro"
