I do find it interesting that no one commented that she looked and sounded nothing like her character yet that’s okay... that said she wasn’t the worst so who am I to say anything. She’s funny and entertaining. But that snatch game missed the mark.

I would say she was one of the worst, included with Elliott, Olivia and Utica.  Also I don't see the love for Denali.  Granted, I really don't know much about the character, but seemed all she did was brush her hair.  In reality, most of the Snatch Game was a bust.  The only two who stood out to me, was Gotmik and Symone.  Even they weren't that great.  Just the others were that bad.

Denali's Jonathan van Ness was spot on. I thought Gottmik was good but that it was a pretty safe choice. She didn't have to do a lot other than talk in a vapid voice to make Paris funny. Agree that Kandy was just being Kandy, but the people seem to have a blindspot for Symone being just as guilty of that week after week. And I normally love Symone, but let's be real, her Harriet Tubman was just... Symone. There were definitely funny moments in her performance, but it was Symone being funny, not Harriet being funny. I think they got the top 3 and bottom 3 right. Kandy could have been in the bottom if at least one of Olivia, Elliott, and Utica hadn't been so terrible.

For me, the thing that put Gottmik over the top was how much she looked and sounded like Paris. I can't think of a more accurate physical imitation in all the years of Snatch Game, and her responses were much more clever than I expected.

Her changing her voice in the beginning was pretty brilliant.

I know Symone does the same gimmicky character but it always makes me laugh so...

Gottmik was on the money with her Paris Hilton and that look on the runway was killer, that definitely was a win very much deserved, and not to mention Rose, Denali and Symone made me laugh pretty hard too. Tina was certainly trying more harder than Kandy who left me pretty meh as a whole but wasn't downright the worst. God, Utica's awful Bob Ross and Elliott with 2 T's equally bad Rue Mcclanahan will go down in herstory as some of the worst Snatch Game performances ever, whereas Olivia was disappointingly forgettable.

Overall a really fun, entertaining episode.

I mean, they were judged as a team, and they were clearly the worst. It came down to the lip sync, and, although it was close, I think Olivia was the rightful winner. Tonight would have been a good time for a double shantay; too bad Ru already wasted it on Kandy.

The judges clearly love Olivia. I thought she looked very clearly like Denali, which is a huge success on Denali’s part - rough though the makeup was up close - and Denali looked like a stranger. Olivia should absolutely have gone home, but here we are.

All that said, I really loved this week’s episode. Like, a lot. Hilarity from Tina and Rosé, Utica and Symone overcoming what could have been a HUGE fail, and Kandy and Gottmik literally overcoming a huge obstacle and pretty much succeeding. Symone and Utica especially. Both of them showed us exactly the range we need from them at the right time, and I genuinely believe them when they say they learned from each other. I can’t say that of any of the other groups.

I hope this season is on the upswing as it finally starts to whittle this group down. Next week’s commercial challenge should be fun. I think the solo commercial challenge is an underrated great in Drag Race challenges.

Honestly, I just never saw anything in Denali through out the competition that made her worth more than Olivia to me. I think they both did adequate in the challenge (as did everyone honestly, they all looked like each other be that good or bad), but what bugged me is that Denali put Olivia basically in her entrance look (The dress was technically different, but they're similar enough that in my mind's eye that's exactly where I went) and I think the wig (on top of being ugly even when it was on Denali too) didn't fit Olivia's head.

It's kind of the bad part of doing something like this when there are Queens whose aesthetic they've chosen for the show isn't interesting or just plain bad. Like... Tina Burner on this show is not Tina Burner before the show. This Red/Yellow/Orange thing of hers is entirely created for the show. Go look at her Instagram. This consistent color pattern only started happening over the summer before she left for Drag Race. And for better or worse, Rosé looked like Tina. She looked like **** because Tina, most of the time, looks like ****.

I agree with that but at least you knew Olivia was Denali. Watching it again, Denali looks like a mix of Jinkx and Alexis Michelle - not a hint of “Olivia” in there.

According to a podcast I listen to there are 16 episodes!! So we have 6 more!! Insane but I love this show so I’m not complaining! I just feel like usually the show is front loaded for a queen (like Lawerence on UK) but this season I don’t know. I love Symone but she did flatline. So maybe Goitmik? (Also what’s with that name?)

Her drag name is a pun on the advertising campaign "Got Milk?". Additionally, the first part of her last name is "Gott," the German word for God.

What was I missing?  During most of the commercials, you could hear them laughing and clucking in the background.  I didn't laugh once.  Untucked is a chore to get through.  The only episode that was "real" was the Kandy/Tamisha fight.  I'm tired of the "I love you girl" episodes.  Olivia and Gottmik are so fake.  And that voice of Gottmik.  It's so irritating.

Let’s not turn this discussion into a fight like EVERY SINGLE OTHER RPDR discussion online.

I, too can’t stand Gottmik’s voice. To me, it’s the voice of someone who wants to sound like a stereotype of a twink with that whiney nasal sound and it drives me up the wall hearing it from anyone.
