So, it was obvious which guy was going home tonight since Mary and Nigel went out of their way last night to tell Tadd he wasn't going home. So, even though he's ALWAYS been in the bottom, I guess they didn't want to look like idiots?

I couldn't believe he made top two -- and I think he needed to as he would have been who was sent home if he was in the bottom -- no matter who he was up against.

Who thinks Jess would be great as a replacement in Mormon? Not one of the leads, but as one of the Mormon ensemble. I don't know if he sings, but I'm assuming he does as Rob mentioned he was in Grinch on b'way.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I would have preferred Ricky to go home before Jess. I do not get what the judges or America see in him. However, I don't mind that Jess went home before Tadd. I used to find Jess really annoying but he had grown on me over the last couple of weeks. As long as he stays healthy he is going to have a great career.

I think Tadd's dance background in dubious. He transitions way too well between styles for a B-Boy. I do enjoy his performances...not necessarily in his own style though.

All that being said, I don't think it matters who goes home at this point. We all know the finals are going to come down to Melanie and Marco. As far as I am concerned, no one else in the competition even exists.

I do like to see that all of the dancers in the competition genuinely care for one another and are sad to see each other go.

I thought it was sweet when Tadd kissed Jess on the cheek when Cat announced Jess would be leaving the competition.

I thought the kiss was sweet, too.

I was really surprised that Tadd was in the bottom two. I really don't mind Ricky all that much. I think he's been saddled with not so great choreography. That being said, my favorites are Tadd, Marco and Melanie.

The one dancer I'm just not getting all the love for is Sasha.

I'm so surprised they didnt mention Mark Kanemura from season 4 who was so featured during Gaga's performance.

Not understanding the Sasha adoration, either. I'll be happy with Melanie or Marko winning Ricky simply MUST be gone, next week. I never, ever vote, but I tried to do the online thing, and kept getting a message that the server was busy, try again. I never was able to vote.

I was so sad to see Jess leave. I have the biggest crush on him and I found him loads better than Ricky. Tadd has been doing extremely well with the various styles, but I'm bored silly by his solos, which are always a mishmash of the same tricks topped by some gimmick. Sonja's rip-off of Cirque du Soleil's Corteo chandelier sequence didn't do Tadd any favors. It was nothing more than a number about a chandelier that happened to have dancers.

I do get the Sasha love. I think she's fabulous. It's the girl that's not Sasha or Melanie that bores me. To me, she's generic and forgettable, especially in her solos.

I agree it will probably be a Marko/Melanie finish and it could go either way. Technically, Melanie's probably the best this season and girls will look up to her, but Marko has the dramatic story tugging at the heartstrings of America.

I usually like Sonja's choreography, but that chandelier number had no business being in there. I'm glad Nigel called her out on it. Last night was the first night I voted and voted for Melanie, Tadd and Marko.

For the most part I have found Rickey's solos to be wonderful (IMO), but last night's was just sloppy.

Lord she was AWFUL. She is so freakin' mousy! She could barely look up. She added NOTHING to the show at all.

That being said, I was suprised there were so many 'misses' in performances this year. No one was amazing for the entire evening. I think, AGAIN, in large part to choreography. (Except Spencer Liff's piece...that just wasn't peformed well.)
I thought Travis was choreographing some of the last show! I'm disappointed. (Maybe he'll have done the opening number for tonight.)

Does anyone know...are they planning to do a 'favorites' performance again tonight?

OK....so who's going to win tonight?

I really hated Nigel's comment to Marko and Tadd about how he believes one of the girls will win. Why bring them down like that? It really put a damper on the end of the evening and sounds like he's trying to influence the voting in favor of the girls. It was really tactless.

Oh, I totally agree with you Mister Matt! Even though it's true, that comment didn't belong in that moment. My heart just sank and felt terrible for the boys.

If he had said it TONIGHT in a more general way, I don't think it would have been fine. Or maybe even last night in closing comments.

I always feel that their comments affect the voting...they are suppose to be the experts after all.

The tap number was my favorite of the entire season. I felt that the top 2 should have been Melanie and Marko, rather than Sasha. Mainly because Sasha's Cha-Cha was abysmal, and Marko did nothing that was abysmal, the entire season. Melanie's winning was certainly no surprise, and she deserved it.
