With all the attention this has gotten, I'm wondering if a Jack Ruby type will appear before it ever gets to court.

I agree with kdogg that the death penalty is always wrong. Always. That said, I might feel differently if my own loved ones were the victims, but of course then rationale goes out the window.

If you're implying that the messages seem fake I do agree that it's very convenient that everything is revealed in one string of messages at one time and I'm not sure if young people even talk like that. I will be open minded that they could be fake and I hope/assume that the truth will prevail (e.g. if it's not real defence lawyers will surely be able to expose this). I think we equally have to be open minded that they could be real, too.

Most gay people I know, including myself, ban that flag too. It has got nothing to do with gay people anymore. For decades we have been working and building on acceptance and we were actually getting somewhere. Now it includes things that have nothing to do with homosexuality, and we are being dragged down with it. It also is aggressive, loud, provoking and it makes school kids think that we all want to put on a dress, dog mask or leather thong. There are thousands of articles and people on social who go into this in a much more detailed way than I can describe here.

These look very real to me. The self satisfied, complacent tone combined with the almost Victorian love language gives a glimpse of the mindset these people are in. I know people like this in my own circle. They see themselves as heroes and saviors. While in fact this deed was pure fascism and authoritarian and evil. It truly is an alternative reality.

That seems unlikely to me. He is always decent and on point. He is someone you can discuss anything with. With an appropriate sense of humor too, to put things into perspective. 

The logical thing to do would be banning you, you are only spraying acid in everyone's face, constant unnecessary personal attacks, which makes it quite hard to have a content-related discussion.

I think you're in for a rude awakening. This is the standard behavior of radical leftists who see themselves as the hero and savior. "I'm saving the world for you my love.
