The dance with Ellen and Twitch was hilarious. I adore her. And I was happy for Lauren. I liked both of them so I would have been fine with either one winning.

I would have been happy if either Kent or Lauren won, but I think it's cool that Lauren won because she was the underdog and it seemed impossible for a girl to win this season. However, she overcame the odds. It was also nice to see Mary back.

I liked all three of them but I'm really glad Lauren won. I've wanted her to win since Vegas week.

I was rather rooting for Robert, and especially for him to be anything but THIRD. However, I really enjoyed watching all of these finalists so it's all good.

One of the most lovely things about this show (asisde from the amazing dance and choreography) is that there is truly so much love between the contestants.

While I thought the Ellen bit was ADORABLE, it didn't need to be at the end as comic relief -- almost cheapened the evening. I think placing it earlier would have been better. It's not like people weren't going to stick around for the results.

And how about giving Alex the spotlight for his "hand dancing"? So sweet!

Here's a thought: why don't they do a "where are they now" kind of two hour show. I'd love to hear more about what any of the dancers are doing. (it was so great to see HAWK, but I would love to have HEARD about what he's doing as well!)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I actually "WOO!"ed when they said Lauren's name. I was rooting for Robert but I'm really happy that a girl won. I really thought there was no stopping Kent.
I agree, they all seem to genuinely care about each other. I'm gonna miss this show.

I've noticed every year, that the second place winner seems to get ignored.
Robert- my favorite, got flowers and his own cheers as third place.
Lauren as the winner, 'got' everything- cheers, applause, confetti!
Poor kent, he got a shared retrospective- nothing his own!

Every year it seems the same!
