Eh...I think Dial Idol is about as accurate as Dionne Warwick's Psychic Hotline. Good for a laugh, but I wouldn't form any opinions based on it.
I expected Billy and Adechike in the bottom, with Adechike going home if Alex had improved, but I had a feeling he wouldn't be back. That sort of injury takes months to heal. It will be good to see him back next season, if he accepts.
Robert, Ashley and Lauren are my favorites, though the Quick Step was no friend to Robert. That was definitely his worst. But the doll dance was wonderful, even though his partner did screw up one of the small lifts. Glad to see the judges didn't pick on him for that. She stumbled and missed the timing, but tried to do it anyway. That was so awkward and looked a bit painful.

Billy is the one I most want to leave the show. I find him a complete bore. Every dance looks exactly the same to me. Mia is a bitch. Her routines are starting to all look the same, as well. I didn't need to be told that was her choreography at the top of the results show. I certainly hope Derek Hough wins the Emmy, this year. Nobody, today, comes close to his versatility.

Gosh, my heart was just breaking seeing Alex leave. To see his brilliance on stage especially after last week's shocker, it's just unbelievable to see end so suddenly! I truly hope that this injury doesn't do major damage to his dancing skills. He does have a lot of strength and determination though I truly hope we see him again! This is just another obstacle he has to face. Now I'm not exactly sure who to root for.. ugh..

Last night Jose was the worst he'd ever been, even in his own style. If he doesn't go home tonight...that is if Ashley is able to continue in the competition...then this season is a complete jock.

Jose is the only option to go home tonight. If he isn't in the bottom three the judges are to blame. All the ridiculous praise for him this season has had him hanging around far longer than he should have.

Jose really needs to go home tonight. The Broadway piece really showed his lack of dance skills, as was pointed out by the judges. The break dancing routine, while having some amazing tricks, still did nothing for me. I felt Dominic was so much stronger in it than Jose. Everyone else had an amazing night! Lauren is getting stronger with every single dance she does and is growing on me week after week. Her "shoe" dance with Billy was wonderful. Now that Kent has stopped being so overwhelming with the small town charm, I am loving him! He, like Lauren, grows on me week after week. His contemporary with Adechike was brilliant.
The best dance of the night was Robert and Allison's contemporary. First of all, Travis Wall's choreography blows me away. I loved the dance he did with Lauren and Kent last week and loved this one even more. This was one of the first times I really saw Robert as an amazing contemporary dancer. Allison continues to blow me away everytime she dances. In my opinion, she is one of the best contemporary dancers in the world.
As said before, I think Jose should leave, but don't know if that will happen. I really hope Ashley can continue because I think she is awesome. If it's not Ashley or Jose going home, I really can't even guess who it would be.

I am truly afraid that Billy will end up being a casualty due to all the judge's overpraise and hype for Jose.

My favorite Dancer this season is Lauren. She has been close to perfection in every style she has taken on. I would say that my favorite guy, minus Alex, is Kent.
I dont see how anyone cant love Mia! Though I didnt enjoy the group routine she choreographed a few weeks back I have loved every other piece she has done.. IMO her and Travis put up the best routines.

I hate all three judges, but Cat makes up for them.

If Ashley goes home tonight, which I fear is the case, I will be devastated. She and Alex were my two favorite dancers this season.

Did anyone notice that Jose wasn't in the group number that opened the show tonight until the very end? 30 seconds before it ended he strutted out of the wings, snapping and then the number was over. He didn't dance a step.
Oh...and Kent's brother was in the audience tonight...HOT!!!

Yeah, I noticed Jose wasn't in the number and thought we were going to get some kind of announcement that he was injured..and then there he was with his little walk-on at the end. Really??!!
I'm sorry to see Ashley go. I'm more sorry we have to suffer through more Jose gushing from the judges next week. It's unbearable at this point.

^^I agree, I can't take much more of Jose or the judges favoritism towards him. Add me to the list of people depressed Ashley is gone. Her and Alex were my two favorites. For me, it's between Lauren and Kent now, with Lauren having a slight edge in my eyes.

I had watched that number almost all the way through before I realized that I hadn't seen Jose yet. I normally look for him to see how busted he is compared to the other dancers. He's usually in the back but the majority of last nights camara work was focused on the downstage dancers. I am sure a lot of viewers didn't notice Jose wasn't there.
This shows me that the producers are trying doop the audience and keep them from seeing that it is no contest when comparing him to the other dancers.

Both Alex and Ashley are in the top ten, and both would qualify to go on the SYTYCD tour after the end of the season. But Alex's injury is severe and he won't be able to tour, whereas they mentioned that Ashley will be on tour. That's the only thing I can think of.

2 injuries must be making the producers look at how hard they are working these kids.
If Ashley wasn't forced out due to injury, I think that the judges very well might have sent Jose home. He is NOT progressing as they hoped and they see it now.

i think they definately would have sent Jose home. you have to admit, out of his style this week they did not hold back their criticism. even his personality did not help.
can you imagine him doing the calibre of routine like the broadway baseball number? (that was a fantastic routine!!! brilliant!!)

Jose has got to go but I think they will sacrifice one of the more capable dancers like Billy to keep him.
So I guess America's votes are only determining who is up for elimination until the finale when it is time to pick a winner.

Yeah, I would have thought it would be up to the audience by the time they got to 5, but i think you're right. maybe that is another reason for the new format, so the judges can determine the finalists.

I'm hoping Kent or Lauren win. My dumb butt wasn't a fan of Alison's during her season b/c I thought she was over praised by the judges, but boy was I wrong. She is INCREDIBLE and deserves EVERY bit of praise. Stunning!
