drama, I think this is the first time Spencer Liff choreographed this season, but I believe he was part of last season.

Piper, I loved Brandon!! Mia just needs to go back to choreographing the routines. First the uncalled remarks to Melinda, and now Adechike.

So do I Tom, but if it wasn't done as a sweet question and even if it was, I bet she is going to be told (off) about it. We may not see her do anything like that again in a hurry. This is what I mean about her becoming more involved which is great. Ryan does it on Idol and she should on this show

I doubt she'll get called out on anything. I loved Cat's comment -- and even the judges understood her comment, but I thought they had a lame response to it. (Well, Mia anyway.)

And yes, the comment about missing Alex was totally uncalled for. It wasn't constructive, it was just mean. (Nigel had a similar sentiment but worded it MUCH more tactfully.)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

A more tactful way of putting it would have been to say, "I'm disappointed that I didn't get to see this routine with you and Alex". Plain and simple and not insulting. I just don't like her.

We already know that Alex will be in the bottom three, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Robert and Billy there as well.

dramamamma...i do think it will be mentioned to her, regardless. off camera of course. if adechike is in the bottom that is where mia's vote went this morning. nigel said hey discuss it over breakfast/lunch and very rarely change their minds in the "dance for your life" segment. i hate that part. just give the results. when do the judges stop having a say since there were only 10 this year and not 20?

of all the judges i have no use for, Lil C is at the top of my list. I do agree with comments about Mia this week and I turned on her when she and Lil C went after Brandon.

sometimes I think that is for tv drama. seriously. "i don't see it Brandon" what??? she is an artist and knew he was phenomenal how could she not see it. and Lil C can blow his comments out his ass.

Lauren is fantastic and always has been. I think these judges see "growth" subjectively because i always thought she was great. she could have done the dances she did last night the first night too, but she was doing different genres. she pairs great with Kent too. did you hear Adam babble on the sexuality of Kent again? jeesy josie!

Ugh, poor Alex. But honestly, the judges had no other options. At least we got to see Ashley and Billy's amazing solos!

It's unfortunate that Alex had to withdraw due to injury. However, I am still shocked that Adéchiké has avoided elimination again. I know that the criticism he got was very harsh, but NOTHING about him stands out. I don't mean to sund racist, but I think since he is the only African-American on the show, he is getting the majority of votes from African-Americans. This same thing has happned with contestants like Mark and Kupuno who got support from Hawaii and Polynesians.

Had a feeling Alex's injury would be worse than they thought. I used to see that injury when my daughter was a gymnast and the girls who were injured like that were always grounded for a couple of months. I'm not convinced Billy and Ashley were in the bottom. Me thinks that was the producers manpulating the show. Anyway, thanks to this show for introducing me to Roisin Murphy. I love her songs and her voice- so unique!

I think Adechike got votes because people are sick of the way the judges are treating him. Mia especially has been cruel and hateful. I knew she would have to apologize for last night, but I also knew she was going to use the "tough love" excuse. LAME!

I'm so cynical but me thinks Mia and the other judeges said all of those things on purpose as a way to manipulate the votes! They must be reading the blogs and then making the judges give apologies. just sayin' (However- it doesn't matter- I tune in to watch them dance and I stopped voting because I don't think the voting is legit.)

Also, Billy in the bottom 3 is complete and utter bull****. He had the most votes last night. Fact.

Really upsetting to see the three best dancers on the show in the bottom this week. I was disgusted.

For some reason I expected Billy to be in the bottom 3 tonight. The best dancer this season is now gone, which is a shame.

Hehe, I was over exaggerating when I said "FACT". But, he had the most votes on Dial Idol by a landslide. Even with marginal error he should have still at least been safe.

The producers obviously knew from yesterday that Alex was going home. They probably put Billy and Ashley in the bottom to scare viewers. With the amount of popularity Billy has there is just no way he could have possibly been in the bottom, especially after his fans got the 'scare' last week. They voted twice as hard this week.

What the heck is Dial Idol? A place where they ask you to call a SECOND time? Incredibly accurate, I'm sure.

I'm saying they are beyond tweaking things, but I doubt they'd go as far as to CHANGE the results of the voting.

I cried like a baby last night, when they had to say goodbye to Alex. SYTYCD dancers have ALWAYS seemed like such a tight group, where the competition aspect doesn't appear to get in the way of relationships. But last night was heartbreaking to watch.

Wishing Alex much success for his surgery and recovery....and in his dancing career.
