The trailer dropped on the weekend at Comic Con, I'm not really sure what to make of it all. I always thought they where both part of the justice league?

But than again I don't really follow any of this.

I love how it starts off with the voice of real-life super-hero, Charlie Rose.

rosscoe(au), I think this movie is a preamble to Justice League? Or it takes place in an alternate universe? I have just above zero interest in most superhero movies, but I read part of an article about it in EW.

Batman's glowing eyes are an homage to the version of Batman from the comic book that this movie based their design on.

And from what I understand Batman and Superman fight all the time in the comic books and certain fans can't get enough of it. This is just the first attempt at bringing that story to cinema audiences.

I know it's been pointed out before, but seeing as we're ragging on superhero movies...Diane Lane (is she in this one?) plays Superman's Mom, while exact-same-age Robert Downey Jr gets to be Iron Man. No fair.

Aunt May in the Spider Man movie franchise is a completely different Aunt May than the one depicted in the original comic books.

This is the second Spider Man re-boot, the second film from the first reboot only came out last year.

So far Aunt May has been played by the following actresses:

Rosemary Harris (Tobey Maguire led films)

Sally Field (Andrew Garfield led films)

and now Marisa Tomei (Tom Holland led films).

Marisa Tomei is by far the youngest actress ever cast in the role but I believe that has a lot to do with the casting of Tom Holland in the Peter Parker/Spiderman role.

Yes everyone, this film is a prequel to Justice League. The title: Superman vs Batman: Dawn of Justice makes that pretty clear.

And yes Kad, Wonder Woman is in the film.

Can someone explain to me how Superman v. Batman is anything but a one-punch fight? Superman is invulnerable with super-speed and the power of flight; Batman has no super powers. Unless Batman hides green kryptonite under his cape, this strikes me as a very short movie.
