I got the feeling Keith and Whitney wrote Dawn's name down as sort of a warning to Ozzie, but also that they are not yet aligned with the others. It is sort of a sticky situation because if they switch alliances, the only person to vote out next would be Ozzie. And of course, he has the idol, so if he plays it, he could decide who goes home next. If Keith and Whitney stick with Ozzie, it's a potential tie next tribal for them. Regardless, putting yourself in the middle of two alliances is always a bad idea.

How crazy was Redemption? Sourpuss really went off on her ex-tribe and on "Benjamin". That was some wild-eyed mess. There was no way she was going to win that challenge. She was WAY too angry to be focused.

And yes, the meat challenge was surprisingly the most disgusting challenge I've seen on Survivor. I was truly getting nauseous and had look away. You have to be pretty damn hungry to want to eat that (or anything) after participating in that challenge.

Stockard - ALBITS! I would like a new reality show of nothing but Albert running around in boxer briefs. That man can cause arrythmia.

I had gotten back from OTHER DESERT CITIES and was watching Survivor on my DVR around 11pm, while I was having a small bite to eat. Needless to say, I had to stop eating while watching (and looking away) from that disgusting challenge.

I wish they would have shown the discussion between the two of them when they decided to vote for Dawn. Those votes accomplished 3 things:

1) They let Dawn know who voted for her.
2) They let Ozzy know who was no longer in his alliance.
3) They let Ozzy know who WANTED to vote for Elyse but were too chickenshlt to do it because they didn't want to piss him off.

So in the end, they should have just voted for Elyse because it wouldn't have upset Dawn (which I'm sure it will and she will now become part of the majority on that tribe) and it wouldn't have mattered if Ozzy would be upset because he would be in the minority now and can easily be voted out next. They didn't think ahead which could bite them in the ass because of it.

Why the hell didn't these dumbassess just blindside Ozzy? All of them were talking about getting rid of Elise, with Ozzy to follow next. This week would have been the time to vote him out -- he was clueless as to what was happening with his tribe and would not have played the idol.

And I totally agree, I didn't understand why they didn't get rid of him this week either. All we heard was "it's just not the right time yet", and that argument NEVER makes any sense.

But Redemption Island is such a crap shoot. Either it's a physical challenge or one of those skill challenges, you just never know. But getting him out sooner is best so he has less of a chance of staying on Redemption until they're let back in. There's a lot that these people aren't thinking about and the last thing they want is him going into the merge.

^ They probably need Ozzy in the challenges.

I also agree that the challenge was disgusting last night. I think they did one similar in "The Amazon" (season 6)but it was nowhere near as gross.

Agree, agree, agree, agree.

Last night was a complete head-scratcher. I have no idea why they made the decisions they did. It's not like Ozzy is Rob who totally dominated during challenges. So dumb to have kept him around, and pissed him off.

I'm glad Dawn is still there. I really like her.

I hope we see them emerge as stronger players in the weeks to come. They have some brains. The 'out wit' part of the game has always appealed to me the most...

OK, finally caught up on these -- and I'm now a vegetarian after watching and, even worse, listening to that meat challenge.

Oh God, I missed that they had them keep the meat. They really were going to eat that meat that they all spit out? EWWWWWWWW.

Christine seems to be pretty focused, which is definitely helping her, but alienating the people she could potentially merge with is not a wise decision.

Ozzy's hissy fit and backpedaling was amusing to watch. But I was hoping there would be more revealed in the 3-way split vote from last week. So glad Edna's still around. I like her and I think she's playing smart. Playing to Coach's preference to loyalty was the best way for her to stick around. Too bad the others are viewing her intelligence as a threat. It's sort of a defeatist attitude if you think you need to get her out before the merge because she might flip. It would be much wiser to reprioritize the hierarchy of the alliance, which is what I think Coach is doing. Alliances of more than 2 always shift and change, especially after the merge when the social dynamic is completely different. Those who wanted to get rid of Edna really weren't thinking post-merge strategy very well. They're just giving Edna more reasons for turning on them.

This Redemption Island twist still doesn't work for me. I think it should be whoever wins the most Redemption Island challenges to go back in the game. That poor Christine girl could go up until the second last challenge and lose after all? Seems like a waste of time for her and for us.
