I don't even watch it every week, and even I know he's a douchebag.
worst. season. ever.
Why am I still watching this season?

I asked myself that same question last night. Brendan was about the last non-loathsome person left, short of Sierra who probably won't be around much longer. And Tyson is proof that the Mormon Church causes brain damage.
Is Coach's first name Penelope?
lol, Phyllis! Tyson wants to keep Sierra around so he can abuse her..what a sick f***

Be the wizard, clever name. Be the wizard.
No Phillys, I am the dragon slayer..
Tyson is trying so hard to be the next Johnny Fairplay, but I can't understand why. Does he think that being abused by Danny Bonaduce on a crappy awards show is the acme of a career? Or perhaps he wants to have a child with a Top Model reject with a face-eating bacteria. While Coach is a douche, Tyson is flat-out loathsome.
I have to admit, I was somewhat shocked by the vote last night. I guess they were hunting after the physical threat, or just trying to eliminated one of the hidden idols, but Tyson (to the audience, at least), is the biggest mental threat in the game and voting off any of his alliance would have been the smartest choice. Maybe they are trying to keep around the most disliked players in order to gain more votes, but they are playing with fire.
Is there a reason not to like JT? I sort of find him charming, but maybe there's something I don't know. Right now, he's my favorite, though I feel he needs to be more strategically aggressive.
I think I hate JT even more than those two, though.

Tyson comes off as the biggest mental threat? I think he comes off as rambling a-hole, not to mention a misogynistic closet case.
Hearing a Mormon say he enjoys crushing people's dreams hits a little too close to home, too.
As for JT, the aw-shucks-I'm-just-a-cow-farmer routine gets old on me really, really fast. Almost as fast as Steven's I'm-a-city-slicker-doing-the-best-I-can routine.
With Sierra's chances nil, a Taj win is about all I could possibly stomach, not because I like her particularly but because I loath everyone else.

He appears to be highly influential so far, which is why I think he's a good strategist. Taj and Stephen already bailed on their secret alliance, which was a much safer bet than hopping into bed with Tyson and Coach, in my opinion.
And we haven't even touched on the Amazon story. Where are Sugar and Cirie when you need them? You hear a story like that and all you can do is look crazy in the eye and say, "Wow, that must have been awful". Then slowly back away as you dial 911 on the cell phone in your pocket.
I hope Sierra wins immunity next week.
The "hurricane" he claims to have survived was supposed to have hit an area of Mexico that hasn't had a tropical cyclone of any kind since the 1930s, and even that was just a tropical storm.

I wonder how many of Coach's miraculous worldwide misadventures had witnesses. I'm guessing none. But I would love to hear a response from the military regarding the plane they allegedly used to drop him off on his kayaking vacation.
HA! I thought,as he was rambling on with his stories, SURELY he must know that people will investigate these claims...he is one crazy mofo.
I mean, with hurricane records going back to the times of Columbus, it's not exactly hard to prove or disprove.
Once coach blabbed that idiotic tall tale in the beginning of the episode, you knew how this one was going to go. It was another set up for us to think these idiots would wise up and get rid of the scrawny steve seagal or the mormon, only to then show how really stupid they are at the vote. I can only assume that they all think they can beat coach and tyson with votes in the end. I agree that it'll bite them in the ass.
I think that tyson did all the work last week after the merge, coach just took credit as the (barf) dragonslayer...
They really laid it on thick with Brendan telling the camera that JT should win if he couldnt and all the rallying he did on his behalf. He was such a sweetie last night.
I think it'll be funny when Taj and Steven have to fight over their idol.

I just don't see Tyson doing much. I see him spouting these psychotic "witticisms" that don't make any sense, and are just laced with this ugliness and bile. To be fair, he's gotten this far, so he's doing something right. I just can't freaking stand him.
Brendan was sweet last night, although I thought the whole getting JT to the end was crazy. He seemed sincere, too. Too bad JT isn't (like Calvin, I don't buy the "aw shucks"y thing at all); he might have been led right to a million bucks.
You know who I don't hate? Erinn.
Oh yeah. I don't hate her either. In fact, I forgot she was even on the show until you just mentioned her.
I think we all forget about Erinn. Except her crazy hair. What is going on there? I understand they don't have any Pantene or mirrors, but her hair really seems to be harboring a lot of resentment.
Remember when Coach despised Erinn and proclaimed he wouldn't so much as stand next to her? I guess New Coach conveniently forgot about that. Coach, New Coach, Douche and Dragonslayer should probably confer with their other personalities and come up with a more cohesive game plan.

Funniest exchange of the night:
Brendan: We're throwing underhand breaking tiles and none of us have ever done this before.
Coach: "I have."
Although I don't want him to win, Coach isn't as annoying now as he is entertaining. Probst's entire blog today is about him:

Heh. To me, he's just annoying.
Last night he and Tyson switched places on my loath list. I hated Coach most, and felt like tyson was more pathetic...now I really loathe tyson and find coach just sad. Probst's questioning his stories was great. If you've ever dealt with a pathological liar, you know the look when they are caught. He had that look.
I love that Probst blog entry and his Susan Boyle shout out)! Great line:
"Say no to Nat Geo, but a resounding YES to Survivor. The man knows his demographic."
I do think it's interesting that Probst believes they should have vote out JT.
