She is reportedly planning on re-creating her classic Judy-Barbra duet "Happy Days - Get Happy".
With who, though?
The current candidates are Tony Bennett, Roslyn Kind or Liza.
C'mon, Babsy, throw Roslyn a bone!!
If this rumor is true, that would be...amazing!! I, too, am in favor of Roslyn.
I think it's a little creepy to do it with Liza, but if you're going to do it with one of Judy's kids, use Lorna, who sounds just like her.
It would be nice to use Roslyn, since Barbra is the reason she has no career!
Jim Bailey.
Well.. Usually opening nights for tours have the show run as it will for its run. So..( and I am not saying it wont happen) I would guess the rumor is a fib.

Barbra would settle for any of those? Please! She will raise Judy Garland from the Dead and REALLY give those fans her money's worth!

I see a video partner ala Natalie and Nat Cole.
I read today that Il Divo is not the opening act but rather an integrated part of the show.
That's what I was thinking, cheeze.
Il Divo gives me hives.
But Joe - I'm buying a ticket to that!!!
I hear she's doing the duet with Hilary Clinton.
*sells ticket*
this "rumor" was actually a press release from the guy that runs her website. so, it WILL happen. i was wondering about a roz kind appearance -- she has been around -- but i think tony bennett is much more likely because of the duet on his new CD.
Jessss! How much money am I going to need to pony up for this?
I thought this said "Streisand Tumor", needless to say, I was confuzzled.

Around where? Your local diner?
Who's Roslyn?
Barbra's younger sister.
Ah!
I just have an issue with $750 for a "good" seat.
Rath, Barbra Streisand gives me hives. Il Divo, gives me diarrhea.
In her last 'farwell' tour she did a montage of her singing with a video-screened Sinatra and her younger self. I hope she doesn't resort to the same bag of tricks.

Imagine that! And, I can remember sort of feeling like I wanted my $9.50 back, when I saw FUNNY GIRL on Broadway.
Who knows?
1. Liza
2. Shirley MacLaine
3. Jason :)
4. Judy via the magic of DVD. . .
5. Roz
6. Herself, a la "One Less Bell to Answer" medley
The USA Today was OK except she never mentions wanting to tour to make her fans happy. It is to raise money and 'to pay for my new house'. Pic was nice but bland, like her recent singing.
