Yeah, I heard about this. So f**king enraging.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

Why isn't this a headline on CNN? Not even a blurb about it.
There was story on Good Morning America this morning regarding a kid with a nut allergy being bullied and threatened with a granola bar. Seriously!

Yea, someone posted it on their FB page. As I said there, it's so tragic. There are no words.
I just wish he could have reached out to someone, a mentor or whatever, for emotional support.
Despite all the progress we have (arguably) made, gay teens still have it the hardest.

I'm most interested in the denial of the school that any calls were placed by the parents. I hope that aspect gets looked into. It reminds me too much of the situation in the south where the school board and administration seemed to be working as an entity against the student - which, admittedly, isn't all that surprising.
This is an arena where I would hope that our increased technology can blow the cover off these types of situations.

It just makes me so angry that life on this Earth can be so f*cked up. Bless this poor kid and may he rest in peace with a new world of wonderful and loving angels.

Sadly, this is the third teenage gay-related suicide this month alone. It breaks my heart.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

Tehachapi police investigators interviewed some of the young people who taunted Seth the day he hanged himself and determined despite the tragic outcome of their ridicule, their actions do not constitute a crime.
"Several of the kids that we talked to broke down into tears," Jeff Kermode, Tehachapi Police Chief, said. "They had never expected an outcome such as this."
Awwwwwww, poor kids. How horrible that they had to be inconvenienced like that.
I hope this haunts them for the rest of their miserable lives as well as their nasty parents'.

There has been a few youngsters who have taken their own lives recently over bullying about their sexuality
Its heartbreaking and makes me cry each time i read about it.
I did the same when i was 15, luckily i was found before its too late, that was over my sexuality and was also 16 years ago, it's a shame things don't change.

That story is why I am a bit appalled a movie like The Virginity Hit is being played for laughs let alone getting made at all.

The sad truth is this has been going on forever. It's only because of increased awareness through communication advancement that we're hearing about it so much. Hopefully, that awareness will start to lead to the situation being addressed.
I think we can see, though, that it isn't a simple matter of everyone looking and thinking, "Oh, this is bad, we should stop."
