another thread got me thinking - what shows lasted longer (or have lasted longer) than you thought they would. Not because they were bad per se, just didn't think they'd go as long..
I'll start off the list (mind you, I don't think these are bad shows, just surprised they have had/have such a long run)

7th Heaven
Full House
Saved By The Bell

Oh no Craig...
Granted, I wasn't a fan of the 7th Season, and nothing matched Buffy's 2nd and 3rd seasons, but that was one of the most intelligent shows ever on TV, so underrated...unless you're saying you were happily surprised it lasted that long in which case I take it back.
Family Matters went too long by the time it moved to CBS, ick.
How about Guiding Light? It was The Guiding Light on radio before TV came along. Over 50 years on TV. That's something I don't think anyone thought would happen.
