I'm going to my meeting tonight...I hope its a decent loss.
NSV (non-scale victory): I worked out 4 times in the last week. I haven't done that in well over a year! Woohoo...but damn, I'm sore.

Well, I will say that my body does feel different--and I've certainly been told so!
In the end, I don't care what I weigh, I just care how I look and how healthy I am. Let's be real: I wanna act and **** until I am 100!

I go to my second meeting tomorrow--I'm excited to see how much weight I've lost.
This diet is so much easier than anything else I've done. I get to eat pretty much whatever I want, as long as it'd in moderation, and the point counting is starting to become second nature. After only 7 days, I feel like this is truly something I could do for a lifetime. The only thing I struggle with is getting in all my oils and all my water. Fruits and veggies are easy as hell.
Only 2 more weeks and I get to start my activity! My good friend is on Weight Watchers as well and all we do is sit around and talk about it. This is one of the best life decisions I've made.
I have to say, the one thing I miss more than anything is chicken fingers with ranch dressing. But I'm dealing.

Another tip: Gardenburger and brans like this (Morningstar Farms is my favorite) make a huge line of veggie substitutions for meat products - like chicken fingers - and their typical servings have as much as half the calorie count of the meat counterpart.
Give 'em a try. I love their "chicken" nuggets.

I've stopped weighing myself. I use a taylor's tape measure to figure out inches and stuff. It's working out pretty well. I lost 4 inches in the waist and 6 inches in the chest since the third 3rd. Makes me happy. :)
Kitzy, I miss Pop-Tarts and sadly enough that is something I'm told I'm NEVER allowed to eat again.

Morningstar rocks! I love their spicy black bean burgers and especially their corn dogs!

I know,
I just realized I forgot to eat today. And it's 3:12. While that proves that my addiction is getting better; I just ruined the 6 months I spent building up my Metabolism.

PAtronus and Newgirl, my favorite Morningstar burger is the chipotle Black bean. YUM!
And Weight Watchers makes a lot of bread products now. My favorite method of getting that burger into my tummy is to put it on a WW English Muffin. The Muffin is 1 point, the burger is, I think, two. For an extra treat, smack on some fat free mayo and, of course, lettuce and tomato.

I do like most of the WW products, but they are ridiculously expensive. The English muffins are small, but I can't complain for one point. The 2 pt bagels are pretty good, too.
I haven't tried any of the chicken Morningstar products yet. Are they really that good?

Is it normal to get to the point where you are struggling to fill up your point quota for the day? I was a few points short yesterday and I just had to do some creative cooking to hit it today.
On the plus side, I'm not ravenously hungry all the time. I guess I just like eating veggies too much

I would LOVE to have that problem. Right now I am HONGRY and go over my points.
But I am making a decision to not eat after midnite (which is 2 - 3 hours before I go to bed). ::looks at time:: Starting tomorrow night.

Week 2 - 168
Starting Weight: 173
Today's Weight: 168
I lost 5 pounds in one week! I know this is the most I'll probably lose in a week, but I'm TERRIBLY excited!
I treated myself to a Grande White Chocolate Mocha Frappucino Light (only 4 points!) and cooked up a batch of the 0 Point Garden Vegetable Soup in celebration. Down to 22 points a day, but I totally think I can rock it.
Funny thing--at my first weigh in, the weight the lady wrote down was 10 pounds off. So even eating 2 extra points each day, I still managed to lose weight. I am beyond excited.
Only 35 pounds to go! I'll be in those size 6 jeans by Christmas at this rate
On the bad side, I still have 6 points left for the day and no desire to eat anything else. I guess there are worse problems I could have!
