jrb_actor, who is arguing? i stated a scientific fact. however i understand that defensiveness causes you to respond this way:
Sue, you just don't get it. And, I am not going to argue with you anymore about this. What's ironic is that if you are who people in this thread think you are, you have no business dispensing advice on weight loss. Sorry to be harsh, but if you are that person, isn't it a bit ironic? Don't you think?
what i think is that i am not who you and others seem to think i am. the person you described above sounds like rathnait62 who has a weight problem, i am told, and has demonstrated over and over again that she has an opinion on everything.
rathnait62, if reaction to you is the measure by which you are attempting to determine my identity you are using the wrong stick. obviously jose is not the only poster who finds you to be ubiquitous, overbearing, and obnoxious, oh and idiotic. still to show that i have no hard feelings i offer you the same advice. eat less, exercise more. typing is not exercise.
but i degress.
i know the core plan well, and it works beautifully. thirty-five pounds and still losing.
it wasn't defensiveness. it was irritation. if you have practical advice to offer, great. I do not consider 'eat less, move more' to be practical advice. and with that I am done with this.

I lost weight this week, and I look pretty hot today if I may say so myself. :)

Despite a pretty off-track week, still down another pound. Total pounds lost: 17
Another 5 pounds and I'll have taken off what I put on during college, but I still would like to lose another 20 past that.
