I've been doing bad. Bad. I even quit WW after 3+ years. But I do want to try try again. I'm going to enjoy my vacation next week and the holidays in moderation and going back to points/exercise after. Really. Really? Really.

This had been a pretty fabulous couple weeks until today when I ate like 15 Christmas cookies.

Oops!

I got checked at the gym today, and I'm at 13.7 percent body fat. Grr. More than three percentage points to go. I'll never make it through the holidays!

And you missed him trying to fit into the seat at the theater.

What a mess.

I can't wait to try it on an airplane tonight! Weigh In

But really -- isn't 15-20 percent OK but not great, and 10-15 the real optimal range (for men, at least)? I'd like to be closer to the lower side than the higher.

I don't know, honestly...but what did you use to calculate your body fat? Just stepping on the scale? that's not accurate of your body fat...and you already look in danger of blowing over in a high wind, Cal.
I kid, but I'm also serious.

Nah, my gym gives free testing, where you put in your height and weight and hold the little gizmo in front of me. It's pretty accurate, but I was also told doing it after a workout rather than before can skew the results somewhat -- in which direction, I don't know.

i believe there was a warning that the test would not be especially accurate for lara flynn boyle, calista flockhart or calvin.
