I haven't gained over the holidays, but I haven't lost anything either. I want to drop about 6 more pounds. Then I'll be hot! weigh in

Problem is, I have been very hungry the past few weeks. Hungry for very naughty foods like Fettucine Alfredo and the like. Agh!

Amy's! Eat Amy's! Even though they're vegetarian (if you're not), they're SUPER good. Plus, her soups are remarkably great versions of otherwise-meat-based soups (like her no-chicken noodle, which has tofu) and you'd never know the difference the calorie count is somewhere below half of your typical soup.

Jerb, you looked smaller than you did on Halloween when I saw you, so I'm wondering if you're the fatty fat you think you are.

Amy's stuff is great - I have a bunch of them in the freezer at work for lunches. I don't think they make a fettucine alfredo, however.

No, they don't, but there are some noodle bowls, one of which is some kind of creamy pesto thing.

Well, that's the thing--around Halloween time I had gotten really flabby and chunky. And that dress sooooo did not flatter my figure!! :P

6 weeks of exercise and my body has tightened. I should see how the dress looks now. HA!

I'm going back to WW today after sort of ignoring it this weekend. Wish me luck.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Good luck D2!

I have seen the Amy's stuff in the store, but haven't really tried it. It looks tasty though. I will have to buy some on my way home tonight!

Peach, I think you'll like it. My personal faves are the Santa Fe bowl, the Thai bowl, and all of her indian entrees. Not one of her soups is a clunker, either, imo.

Jerb, Ms. Doku does need to make a return appearance in her new post-Kirstie Alley days!

I love the Amy's stuff. It tastes fabulous, unfortunately it's a bit too expensive to be anything other than an occasional treat.

It's definitely not cheap, as frozen dinners go, but it's no more expensive than going out and getting a sandwich or something around here.

Another day and one more pound lost. The restaurant last night had a great salad and a shrimp and scallop dish that I had the chef lighten up a bit. I love the first week of a diet because I always lose at least a pound a day. We'll see how next week unfolds.

Nice, SOMMS. I had my usual Wednesday night vanilla Slim n Trim Smoothie from Smoothie King as I worked.

I got on the scale this morning, and while I didn't lose weight, I haven't gained either. Considering how much damage I did this weekend, I'm thrilled.

Off to the gym now. Yechhh.

Does anyone have a Baja Fresh near them? It's not like ordinary "fast food"...everything is cooked fresh to go. The slight wait is worth it. For two days in a row I had the side of grilled shrimp for lunch. If any of you love shellfish, you will love this. I squeezed some fresh lime into it and voila! Absolutely delicious, no fat, lots of protein and not at all heavy. I felt great.

Baja Fresh is indeed yummy. Unfortunately, we only have one in the state, and it's pretty far out in the 'burbs.

For those of you that have one nearby though - definitely take advantage of it. Good stuff, tasty, very fresh and lots of weight conscious options.

There are several that are 30-40 minutes from me. I drove by one last night but didn't know a thing about them.

Congrats, Jerb. I'm sure it would have been more than a pound minus the alcohol and cheese ball (or is that cheeze?)

Blueroses, I used to live for Baja Fresh (and several other places like it) in California. I hear there's a couple in New Jersey, not even so far from the city, but they're not here yet although they're creeping closer.

It's always those damned stuffed mushrooms that get me!

And the booze. And the chocolates. And the donut ice cream!
