Who the hell is bashing it? If anything, everyone is saying constructive things about it and nothing mean at all...in fact, there is much more nice stuff said about it so far than anything. This thread wasnt intended to bash the show and it isnt doing so either.

It's so sad that will and grace is ending because that is the only show i really like on nbc. they should do another episode with patti lupone!

if they wanted to end the show on a "high note" as mccormack said, they should have ended about 3 years and about 100 writers ago.

Well, we have the usual refrains of "the cameos suck" and "it should be called the Jack and Karen show", "it's mean spirited", and "they should have ended 3 years ago".

This thread has actually been pleasant compared to other W&G threads.

I guess I am just getting fed up with the cattiness and negativity on the board lately. I'm tempted to start a "Well then, what the **** DO you like?" thread. Seems most people are keen to list stuff they loathe. Oh well. Blah.

I agree...I don't see why you would say there wasn't any negativity here. I certainly posted some negative feedback. Though, I don't think it was necessarily as out of line and on the attack as JRB seemed to be indicating. Besides, this is a thread that was started to discuss the ending of the show. While I'll concede that there is an onslaught of negativity on the boards, it's not like it it was a show the Will and Grace love thread. I think it's generally pretty rude when people barge on there to bitch about whatever or whoever the thread might be about.

it's a fair criticism of the show. it is time for them to end, so bravo to them for pulling the plug. the show has declined in quality so it is laughable for mccormack to say they want to end it on a high note. it does not sound to me that he is very aware of the quality of the show now vs. when it started years ago.

i'm the first one to shout "stop the negativity" but that really only bothers me when it's a personal attack.

Yes! I've had Rob's site bookmarked for AGES! I love reading the transcripts of the shows and the trivia tidbits! The writing is usually excellent, but seeing it on paper really gives you an idea of how talented the cast is to make this stuff even funnier!
