I've had to dissect 3 things this past week.

I should probably feel as strongly as I once did about animal rights, but I suppose my passion kind of waned for whatever reason. However, I'm also against dissection, mainly because I don't even understand the purpose behind it in many high school classes. Perhaps it's just the teachers I've had, but my teachers haven't actually made dissection much of an educational activity. Sure, you can cut the animal open and see its liver and stomach and whatnot, but what are you actually learning? You could observe the same thing by just looking at one color photograph. Perhaps there is more of a purpose behind it in higher levels of biology, but right now, it seems like an excuse just to cut things open.
Amy, I just stand back and observe as well. I just can't cut the animals open. The rat's tail came into contact with my arm in 10th grade and I flipped out.
I like "morning is a dream, a break in the night." It implies to me that they're feeling so passionate that the morning feels unreal.
I like your interpretation. That's, for a lack of a better word, very hot. Really, my opinion is probably just another case of preferring what I heard (or, in ths case, what I thought I heard) first.
I googled the lyrics of Cellophane Sun. Only I would care about something like this, but I'm disappointed that it's not "morning is the dream of breaking the night." I liked it my way better! I don't like finding out that the version of lyrics in my head all this time was wrong. It happens to me quite often with songs (I guess I have an untrained ear), and I usually end up liking my version better. Heh.
Heh. If I'm not looking at the lyrics of a song the first time I listen to it, I'll come up with incorrect lyrics that stick in my head forever.

Jessica, the worst is when you're a fan of a singer who has poor diction or a different way than I'm used to of pronouncing words. I don't listen to her often anymore and I strongly dislike her newer work, but I used to absolutely love Tori Amos. Her lyrics are usually a bit "out there" in the first place, but I can't tell you how many strange lyrics I've invented while listening to her songs.
I had a hard time initially understanding Heather on parts of the Aida OBCR as well.
ETA: I'm pretty sure that skittles is the only one who sympathizes with my long LJ rants, but oh my God, how many Rent RPGs do these people need?!

Just a reminder - Conviction is on now.

Hee. Those are almost as prevalent as the icon posts.
Ooh, Will Chase was on-screen in the beginning of Conviction!
Is cop dude Will Chase?
And now Rodney's on!

Really, though, how many RPGs do they need?! Can't they join a pre-established one? Or does everyone want to be Mimi? ::rolls eyes::
Also, for whatever reason, icons that have "true love!" superimposed over an image of Rodney and Anthony creep me out. I can't really explain why considering Anthony's relationship with Rodney is certainly not a secret, and I'm sure they do love each other, but it's like... keep the "true love!" and "OTP!" icons to the characters, please.

I thought I remembered Will as more attractive than that. Heh.

I just put Conviction on and saw Rodney and Will
Yay Conviction!
I agree, Lexi. That's kind of creepy.
Rodney is *so* tiny. And yes, this is coming from a 20-year-old that's barely 5 feet tall.

I think the worst was that icon of Adam's sons. I realize that photo of them isn't exactly private considering his wife posted it on the internet, but please don't make an icon of them.
I swear Rodney is shorter than me. Aw, he's adorable.

heh. Rodney is very tiny. (coming from a person that's 5'1" )
He's definitely shorter than me.
Well, he's obviously smaller than Anthony, who's no giant.
ETA: I'm pretty sure that Priscilla Lopez plays the female ADA's mom. It's a very Broadway episode.

those icons creep the hell out of me..
I feel so bad for Adam..what if you saw your kids as peoples icons all over the internet?
Someone's using his kids as an icon?

yea...i think they made some on LJ..creeepy
That's really creepy.
Yeah, I've seen people in the Adam LJ community using that picture from Cybele's blog as their icon.
I suppose she shouldn't have posted it, really, though I'm glad I got to see it.
