I third the Chinese.

Cream cheese wontons is about as unChinese as you can get.

I love steamed white rice. Uncle Ben's isn't nearly as good.
Until yesterday, I thought Uncle Ben's rice and Aunt Jemima's maple syrup were produced by the same company. Hah.
I know, Chloe. But they're so gooood.

That sounds so midwestern somehow. (And don't take that the wrong way - I'm from there originally.)

It probably is! They're at every Chinese buffet around here, too.
I'm still thinking about "NFL Dad." Heh.
I've never had sushi. Hm.
This is really random. Lexi, what does your usernamer mean?
I haven't either, Mandi, except for California roll, which I like a lot.
I'm still thinking about NFL Dad too. I certainly wouldn't mind watching Adam being "temperamental."

... but then he's transformed into this wonderful, loving man by the end by the power of a child.
NOT CLICHE AT ALL.
Hah. I'm sorry.

I should make some stir fry tonight...that sounds really good now that you're all talking about Chinese food...
heh. Temperamental.
I'm just not big on fish.
It's a Smashing Pumpkins album, right?
I eat sushi, but not the fish kind. So, basically, I eat the wimpy sushi.

That's the kind I've had fantab...mainly cause I don't trust the places I've gone for the fish kind. I'm not picky, but seriously, not so close to water...those fish would have to swim a LONG way...
I love California Rolls. That's the only kind of sushi that I eat.

What, my username, Mandi? Yes. It was what I was listening to when I signed up for BWW. It's a great album in a lot of respects and generally makes it at least somewhat high on those "best albums of the 90s" lists. Download "Cherub Rock" and "Soma" if you'd like a taste of it. :)
Billy Corgan, the lead singer/guitarist, looks SO MUCH like Michael Cerveris -- not only the baldness, but the facial features and everything.
Adam can pull off temperamental. Hee.
ETA: I just noticed Bohemian's post. But... yeah, there's your answer.

Yeah, I only eat vegetable sushi. I don't like fish.

I can't imagine a life without seafood!
The general idea is certainly totally cliché. Everything depends on the execution.
My favorite type of sushi is sometimes called Nori Maki, it's pickled squash. It's kind of sweet and really quite good. The only problem with sushi is that almost every place I go to has a different name for the same roll.
Thanks. I was curious.
The movie has the potential to be awful.

True, true, Chloe. If it is indeed a good script, I hope Columbus doesn't give it his typical treatment.

I'm not sure what his typical treatment is, I just hope it's good. And I'm so jumping the gun, because we have no idea if this is real or not.
Anyway, I was thinking about how a lot of Rent fans have reacted negatively to him on the commentary. To me he comes off better than, say, 90% of the directors I've met. It's probably not healthy to be a god in your own little world, and very few of them manage to overcome the inherent irrisistible temptation to turn into an ass, if they weren't already. (I'm lucky in that the director I've worked with the most is an absolute sweetheart.)

The movie was good in my opinion but I dont know what Columbus was thinking at some parts! How could he pick the current ending over the alternate one! I love how angel comes out at the end and it was alot more like the show!Weird.
Hi, The W.A.N.D. I disagreed with some of his choices too, but I thought the ending that was used was better, for the same reasons as were discussed in the commentary.
