I have Company to look forward to, which is why it's going to take forever to get here.
I have many things to look forward to lately. Ok you know you're stressed when really stupid things can make you laugh for half an hour.

Does the word "pansexual" have a connection to Sweeney and/or Company? I'm so clueless. My friend and I would always laugh at Alan Cumming's quote about how he's a "little fun-loving pansexual" or something to that extent.
To me he comes off better than, say, 90% of the directors I've met.
Chloe, I'm not sure if that's a credit to Columbus or just reflects the apparent arrogance of directors in general! Personally, he just rubs me in the wrong way. It's not even "OMG, he cut Goodbye Love!" as much as his overall persona. However, I've been known to misinterpret people and have people rub me in the wrong way for no good reason at all, so don't pay attention to me.
Have fun, skittles! I've mainly only heard Billy's Greatest Hits album, but I love what I've heard.
Neither, really, Lexi, but Company -- tangentially.
I'm afraid it's more a reflection on directors in general, Lexi, but Columbus doesn't bother me as much as he seems to do other people either. Maybe I'm just more used to the directorial mode.
I'm sure there are plenty of bi (or pan) sexuals in the world, but I think some people apply it to themselves because it sounds cooler than being just straight or gay.
Sherie Scott was not wrong when she said "bisexual" just sounds hotter.
I've never heard anyone use the word pansexual before. That's the same thing as bi?
I have to babysit at 9:15: a house nextdoor that has no tv and no computer. 4 little "angels". I might have to kill myself. All I have is my phone and nobody to talk to/text because everyone I know is out. . Sorry for the rant.
Read a book!
It's kinda the same. I guess.
I don't have any good books at my house. I guess I'll bring music with me.
I've often seen the term "omnisexual" being used in a similar context as "pansexual" seems to be used. I think omnisexual just sounds cooler.
Mel, if you're babysitting for 4 kids, you probably won't have much time to relax anyway. Then again, I have no babysitting experience other than being in the same house as my younger brother when our parents weren't home.

You're getting paid, yes? If it's a decent rate, just suck it up and play nice for a few hours with them. I'm not a huge fan of small kids in general, but I can be perky and smiley for cash.
I was thinking today about the Babysitters Club books.... did anyone read those? I'm assuming so. Anyway, weren't those girls like 12? Don't most 12-year-olds still require babysitters themselves? Maybe things were different back then.
The babysitters were 13 and the junior members were 11, although in the babysitter club movies they were like in their 20s.
I loved those books when I was younger. Anyone read the Box-Car Children books, or something like that?
I was completely addicted to the Babysitters Club books when I was like 6 or 7.

Boxcar children
I read Boxcar Children, Hardee Boys, Babysitter's Club, Nancy Drew, Goosebumps, the Little House Books, the Ramona books, Ms. Piggle Wiggle books, the Saddle Club books, the Black Stallion books (in addition to a million others, heh)
And the people in the Babysitter's club were in 6th grade I'm pretty sure.

hah I used to love the Goosebumps books.
Well they should be asleep by 9. They're young, and it's a very strict house. But normally, it's hell when they're up. I only get $10 an hour which if you've ever watched 4 small children who don't listen to you (2 of which are babies that cry a lot), you know that I'm seriously underpaid.
OMG, I totally remember all those series. I never really got into any of them, but all my friends loved the babysitter club.

Wow, I used to babysit all day two kids for only $5 an hour. And that was my summer job. And I made only $9 at my factory job over the summer.

I'm done trying to understand
I thought I knew what every girl wants in a man!
It's so bad, but I can't stop listening since the song popped up on shuffle.
So bad. yet so good.
Is not having a TV part of the strictness? That's pretty unusual nowadays. For various reasons I went without a TV for two or three years once, and when I started watching it again, I felt like the commercials had been made on Mars. They were so, so far from actual human behavior and experience. I got used to them again pretty fast though.
They're orthodox. The kids are practically brain washed with religion. I mean there's nothing wrong with being religious, but the kids like try to convert me while I'm there. They're kinda against other religions, it's weird in a way.
I'm surprised they don't have an orthodox babysitter?

Mel, can you please stop complaining? I swear I've never heard someone whine about everything so much. You probably could have just turned down the job if you hated it so much. In addition, I certainly never received $10/hour when I babysat for three children. I often had to stay up until 12 AM with them, and I played games and interacted with them.
I'm sorry, I realize this is hostile, but please. stop. I swore that I was going to pop a blood vessel when you complained about not being able to attend the OBC concert (trust me, you could have it worse -- you could be living in North Dakota, like me), but I tried to be generally nice. Seriously, be grateful that you've scored a job. You'll probably come out of the night $40 or so richer and you'll see, in retrospect, it was worth it.
