Adam, I so don't wish I knew how to quit you. But, you know, you risk slowly being replaced.
... I could never.
But I did meet Mano!
Well your allowed to neglect the Adam thread a little, since you met him

I'll say it again, happy birthday Skittles!
Morning, everyone.
I have a midterm today.
*freaks out*
Good morning everyone.
Good luck on your midterm!
Good morning, everyone! I'm back from my little trip. It was fun, but I bowled bad in my tournament so that kinda sucked. I also lost a lot of money at the casino, but I still managed to have a good time.
Sorry I missed all the Aida talk. I'm going to a dinner theater production of it in May and I'm trying to keep my expectations in check. I love the songs so much and I'm going to have to work really hard to not be overly critical of the cast. People were mentioning their favorite songs and I think mine is "Not Me." I love Elaborate Lives and Written in the Stars, too, so it's hard to choose a favorite sometimes. Essentially, I just love everything about the play.
Now, I have to go run errands, so I'll talk to you all later.

Hi Tracie! Welcome back. What part do you play in the production?
Adam, I so don't wish I knew how to quit you. But, you know, you risk slowly being replaced.
Em, you know that after you see him on Cold Case, get info about one of his upcoming concerts, etc., you'll be right back to normal.
Good luck on the midterm, Fantab! I have one tomorrow that I really need to make study notes for (it's a class with a lot of formulas to remember, so we're allowed to bring one page of handwritten notes to the exam).
I was so tempted to skip my 8 AM class today, but I'm glad I didn't because the professor gave out Kit Kat bars to everyone who showed up . Hopefully the chocolate will help keep me awake.
I'm really tempted to skip my english class - it's the class right before my midterm. Unfortunately, I was a little too giddy, tired, and frozen to study when I got back last night. I feel like I need to just have some time to review some things before the exam.
Thanks for the welcome back, Lexi! I'm not going to be in the production, I'm just going to see it. I'm really excited because I've never seen the play live, but I'm worried about being disappointed since I love the OBC so much. I kind of have the same problem with the upcoming Rent tour. I'm looking forward to it so much, that I'm afraid it can't possibly live up to my expectations and then I'll be disappointed. I'm sure I'll love it no matter what, though. I'm just happy to finally be able to see it live.
Unless your English class is one of those really small classes where the professor will definitely know if you're not there (or a class where they take attendance), skipping would probably be a good idea, simply because your midterm in the other class will have more of an impact on your grade than missing one class.
OK, now someone needs to give me a reason to skip my Calculus class this afternoon (other than the fact that I probably wouldn't pay attention in it even if I went and would leave during the 5-minute break)

Wow, I completely misread. For whatever reason it, I read your post as "I'm going to be in a dinner..." -- yeah, it's still way early (for me!). I suppose my only advice would be to go in just hoping to enjoy the songs performed live, if nothing else. Granted, that would be difficult if the leads can't really sing, but hopefully you'll get lucky.
I'm horrible at practicing what I preach, though. I saw Les Miserables twice on Broadway and then saw a local production. I was really disappointed in it, but I know it wasn't really the fault of those involved. My expectations were far too high.
Well, it is a small class (around 16) - but people are always absent and I have yet to be. I could email her and lie that I'm sick, which I've heard she's really nice and understanding about. We'll see...I actually am not feeling so well.

Hee. I'm always confused by things early in the morning - I often joke that the only reason I can even remember my name before 10:00 is that I have it right there on my necklace for quick reference

Exactly. It always is that way. While I'm in Cincinnati, it'll be like "Adam who? Mano who?" And as soon as I see Adam again I'll be right back on track.
I... overslept.

Chocolate just for showing up?! My professors need to talk to yours...
I don't want to be on campus all day.
What part of "I don't want to talk about it" is my mother incapable of understanding? She's practically obsessed with making sure I know she still loves me even though I did badly on a midterm, but in doing so she keeps bringing up something I would much rather not dwell on.
And if anyone is as interested by Billboard charts and sales data as I am, here's how the movie soundtrack sold this past week:
128 RENT - SOUNDTRACK 8,494 -11 9,581 270,995
129 RENT (2CD) - SOUNDTRACK 8,448 -2 8,629 307,326

Happy Wednesday. Hope it's going good for you guys so far.
Yea, I have a math test to study for. *bleh* Oh well, it's not that bad. At least I know it's not gonna be that hard.
I have so much work to do. *freaks out*
You people are all bad influences. I *should* be in class right now. I guess it's good that I'm at least studying.
At least you're studying. :)
