cold case = kick ass. i love the show. tracie is on it too. she doesnt have much of a part. but i still love her.

I want to share that I met Daphne today and I geeked out SO MUCH.
I saw Bernarda Alba which... is good. I love love LOVE LaChiusa's composing, but the issues he handles in his shows are so, so heavy. It's very intense and disturbing, and I think some people feel as though the issue isn't particularly relevant nowadays, but if you step out of the specifics and into the bigger pictures, it's probably more accessible, like See What I Wanna See.
It was so cool to see Daphne play a role, which even though I've seen her perform before, I had never done. Kind of surreal to hear that voice.
I was too geeked out to say anything other than "hi!" and ask her to sign my Playbill, but she's really, really sweet. She personalized it for me, too.

Thanks Sarah, but I'm not worried about that exactly, I even felt kind of reluctant to start this one. Since I did, though, I don't want to see it go, which is silly.

That's cool Em. I've never been totally sold on LaChiusa's previous works/composing, but I've really gotten into SWIWS...I'll be interested to hear Bernarda Alba.
Aw, I guess I need to clean up the flour and other cooking stuff I've thrown all over the thread?
Nothing so far on the show tonight...I've been looking around...
