I think one of my justifications for my many unbought CDs is that I want to know if I'm going to like something before I spend $20 on them. I now have a long list of CDs, including Adam's, which I will be purchasing over the summer.

I initially downloaded some of the songs and after realizing I had some interest in them, I downloaded his albums from iTunes. I don't fault people for wanting to listen to a few songs before shelling out $25 for both of them, but it's rude to be all, "Hi, I like Adam, upload his albums for me now, thanks!"

No, I totally agree Lexi. You don't just walk in there and ask for everything the guy has ever done. It was really rude. That's what the majority of posts on his lj are now. Watch it not be the right d/l program, and she'll ask for it to be reuploaded.

I purchased Civilian from iTunes, but I haven't gotten Model Prisoner yet.

Anyway, that stanton person on the main board is REALLY frustrating. All straight people are homophobes and dislike Rent based on that? And the person insists that they aren't generalizing. People amaze me.

Oh, I know you were agreeing with me. The timing of my post made it look like I was trying to raise some other point, but yeah, I'm with you 100%.

And yes, that's the best. "MegaUpload doesn't work for me! I can't figure out how to wait 50 seconds before downloading the file!"

On another note, I suggested to the mod that the community should have a post in its "memories" section that has links to rare audio of his to avoid all the "please upload ___ for me!" posts. She implied that I would have to be the one to do it, which I'd normally have no problem with doing, but sorry, I'm not the mod. I might end up doing it anyway in hopes of those posts stopping.

That mod bothers me Lexi. If I were mod, I'd have deleted half of those posts and told them to search harder.

I can also understand maybe asking for a preview of one of his songs from Model Prisoner or Civilian, but asking someone to upload a whole cd is just rude. Besides, if she's such a large fan of his, wouldn't she want to support him?

Em, that's actually a really cool thing for him to do, especially considering I doubt he's absolutely loaded. Yay Adam.

Sarah, the mod is generally a nice girl, and I'd usually rather have nice mods than bitchy pretentious assholes for mods, but she needs to be a bit stricter. Seriously, I'm this close to just making a post with all the rare audio and video just to shut everyone up... and then I realize that 90% of the people on that community annoy me. Heh.

I'm so sorry for always bringing my LJ complaints over here. I swear, LJ is not a huge part of my life!
